Chapter3.
Ok, get up youve been sitting on that sofa all day, and other than the smell being a very important factor here, you kind of remind me of my Granny. So two very good reasons to get the ***** up, now Trixie.
Lizzie began tugging my arm but I was not budging. It was the weekend and to make myself feel better about my impending future in an unhappy job and growing old surrounded by hundreds of cats in a one bedroom flat where I ate food straight out of cans with my fingers. I was getting into the feel of things by spending the day on the sofa, eating junk food that only needed opening in order to eat and watching a cross between black and white movies, which produced a fuzzy warm feeling inside and chat shows like Trisha or Jerry Springer, which other than making me laugh also made me feel a ***** of a lot better about my life.
Lizzie I thought I made it very clear what my plans were for this weekend. I said, pulling my arm back and retuning my attention back to the gripping, I married my pet which was disturbing yet incredibly intriguing at the same time.
Trix I don’t care if youve been planning this all bloody year, I am not gonna sit back and let you waste the summer of your life because you have some weird and very unrealistic out look on how your life is going to work out. When really you have no clue what’s going to happen, and because you have no control over that it scares you and the only way you can get control of it, is if you decide to just sit on your ***** all day and not do anything even remotely exciting.
I looked at Lizzie, shocked at how impassioned that speech had been. And also felt quite stupid as what she had said, may have been harsh, but was irrevocably true.
Woah Liz, don’t hold back or anything.
Trixie, youre my best friend and I love you, I know you would do the same for me. she said sympathetically, then began tugging my arm again.
