Chapter3.
Before I had time to react she had pulled me off the sofa and was dragging me over to the bathroom. I cried out, surprised at how strong she was.
Where are you taking me!
Lizzie pulled me into the bathroom and turned the shower on. I was out fo breath and still slumped on the floor. We had a walk in shower, which I had thought would be a good idea as there would be more room and, even though neither of us had been able to put this into practice, more than one person could fit into it. I had not expected this to work against my advantage.
Lizzie actually picked me up and in my startled state I failed to notice her sit my down in the shower, stand back and place the shower head over me. Ice cold water streamed down my face, I gasped, letting a series of expletives and struggled to get up. Lizzie stepped out of the shower and shut the door behind her.
You better get washed and dressed because were going out tonight. she called to me before exciting the bathroom.
I stood up and adjusted the temperature, shivering as the water began to heat up. I had to smile, I would have done exactly the same if Liz was being as depressed as I was.
So, against my previous wishes I showered and got ready to go out. Lizzie refused to tell me where we were going, which meant it was somewhere I didn’t want to go. But I played along none the less, it couldn’t be as bad as where she took me last time; it had been another occasion when I was slightly down after being dumped by one of the most obnoxious and artificial men I had ever dated. To cheer me up she took me out to a very modern and hip bar, and we were having a good time until we realised it was karaoke night and one of the rules was that everyone in the club had to go up and sing. Or else they had to down a pint of what only can be described as a potent mixture of all the drags from the evening and the contents of all the ash trays. It was after about five minutes of quiet contemplation with the nauseating concoction sitting in front of me that I decided to go up and sing.
