    Soul Harvest: Chapter 53

I like that one. Tina pointed to a picture of a pink, gray and green painting.

And thats why I own the gallery and you stick to publishing. Bette said as she turned the page. Tina scowled.

Ill keep my opinion to myself from now on.

You are entitled to your opinions, just dont expect me to rely on them. Bette glanced up at Tina who was sitting in her flowered underpants and little white t-shirt. It was a Sunday morning and Bette leaned over the counter, browsing through an art magazine while Tina sat next to her on the countertop, bunch of green grapes in hand, thighs flat on the tiles while her thin legs dangled below, swaying back and forth. Bette loved these moments with Tina, sharing the simplest every day things together.

Bette opened her mouth and Tina plopped a grape in her mouth. Tina flipped one up in the air and impressively caught it in her mouth. Bette raised her eyebrows. Nice catch.

Tina grinned. Thanks. Another one of my many talents.

Theres so many to keep track of. Bette said as she moved to stand in front of Tina, closing the magazine.

What can I say? Im amazing.

Id say so. Tina looked down at Bette who started kissing her thigh. Leaning back, Tina propped herself up with her hands, now free of the grapes.

Are you starting trouble? Tina asked.

Would it be a problem if I said yes? Bette glanced up momentarily.

I wouldnt think so. Tina shot back, a sly smile on her face.

Minutes passed. The magazine was later found on the floor and the grapes scattered all across the kitchen floor and inside Tinas inside out shirt. A passerby would have seen two women wrapped around each other, naked, on the cool linoleum floor.

I could get used to that. Tina said, breathless.

    Me too. Bette remained quiet.

Bette do you ever think about having children? Tina asked, propping herself up on an elbow, looking down at Bette.

Where did that one come from?

Oh, I dont know. Just wondering I guess. You never talk about it.
