Tina
Tina was released from the hospital into Nyas care and returned to work later that morning.
Tina, you know I dont think its a good idea for you to be at work so soon, Nya cautioned as she pulled up to the curb of CM&E.
I know and youre right, Tina smoothed her hand down Nyas hair. Im not going to stay long and Shane said shed pick me up in a little while and take me back home.
But Nya sighed, Im just still worried about you Tina and I want to help you through this, she held Tinas hand tightly.
You are. Tina reassured. More than you know and please stop feeling bad for me; it wasnt your fault that this happened. Tina looked at her watch. I have to go now. Thanks for driving me and Ill call you when I get back home okay? Tina leaned over and kissed Nyas cheek. Stop worrying. Tina got out of the car and waved goodbye.
Nya watched Tina go into the building before she pulled off still worried, but at least feeling better that Tina wasnt holding anything against her.
Hey Sparta, Tina chirped, not wanting her to pick up on anything being wrong.
Hey! Good morning, Sparta replied enthusiastically. Everything cool?
Yeah. Of course! Tina lied. I had a rough weekend, if you know what I mean, Tina implied with a wink to throw Sparta off.
Sparta laughed. Uh, huh. I hear you. Martin wants to see you when you settle in and Russell needs you to take over his meeting with Fenwick as 3:30.
Tina looked at the clock on the wall and realized she a few hours to prepare for and chair Russells meeting and she wasnt looking forward to it. Now, she wished shed given the reason why she wasnt in earlier, but duty called and she had to put on her game face.
Can you let Russell know Im here and heading up to see him and can you call Brody and see if he can see me today?
Anything for you Tina, Sparta smiled suggestively, but Brodys not here today and wont be back until Wednesday.

It’s interesting to see Rayne talking about control with Bette. Is Bette able to understand that ? Does she want changes that ? Maybe, with Rayne, she has no choice, if she’ll continue her relation wih her.
Yes, Tina knows better Eric than Nya. Is for that, she wants to see him ?

Phenomenal read, Blu. I just loved Rayne calling Bette on her shit and not taking any backtalk or squirming out of it. Bravo!
Personally… I always find a chapter structured with lively dialogues very engaging to read and you did exactly that with this chapter. Sometimes I get a tad bit upset when I don’t understand why a story line goes like this or like that but it always helps a reader in my humblest of opinion when the writer pays close attention to details and is consistent in her efforts presenting her case by providing her readers with a solid supporting back ground stories like I find in your story Blu. I love B&T stuff and truthfully much as I love to be lulled with sweet B&T mush I find myself continuously reading this particular story simply because the writer consistently provide me with a very strong argument why she chooses her story to be where it is at this point. Are you going to bring them back together? I’m clueless. If they are not back together do I let this affect my opinion of this story… hell no! Either way, I’m intrigued and that’s reasons enough for me to continue reading whatever exactly it is that you have in store. Thanks for sharing this… now on with the next chapter shall we please.

Nya is there waiting in the wings for Tina and hopefully Eric may help Tina see the wood for the trees.
As for Rayne and Bette (even as a diehard B+T fan) am luving this interaction. It is brilliant how Rayne has the total measure of Bette and with any luck will bring out the best in Bette and help her redress some of her control issue.
Am sure that this will lead the way for my fave couple to find each other again and cement their relationship to another level.
As always, as admiring fan.
