storyteller ch.5
I dont really know what it was I planned on doing. Or what it was exactly that made me do it. I mean, I wasnt really the one to be hooking up people, let alone device this awesome plan as I did for Bette and Tina. It wasnt that I had the credibility to back me up on my dating experiences or my love life or lack there of. I dont even think Ive ever been in love, let alone loved.
The thought of love alone gives me the hiccups. Yes, there were girls I really like and then the ones that I really really like, but they stopped just right there; came into a halt before crossing the love line. The same goes for the boys. Sometimes I forget that Im bi and that can be a ***** because I have a reputation to keep up with.
But anyways, if the thought of love alone gives me the hiccups, think about how I would feel if love happens to me. I guess I just might lose my breath altogether and just die, in a good way of course. But in the rate Im going, Im still quite allergic to it.
Monday mornings always suck major *****. I stopped by at the Planet that morning in hopes that Id get at least a decent cup of coffee. Needless to say the line was telling a different story. So I headed to work without my morning coffee and that wasnt a good sign at all.
I got to work and saw that my desk was mess, not so much of a mess but of work to do, a mess nonetheless. Files of files of reports to do and type up, articles to edit and correct and it left me wanting to escape the second I set foot at my door.
Luckily Mark, the head editor called me into his office and had asked me to do an interview for a newly movie productions named Alphaville Productions that was doing a shoot two blocks from here. Daisy, who was going to do the assignment was sick so he assigned me to it. Keep in mind that I didnt know Tina worked for them yet. So it was a total surprise. From then on Mondays seems to bring me good luck.

I hear ya, Alice!
I like this Alice and I like the way you’re pursuing this, through her POV. It’s different and fresh.
Thanks!
That was great, mixing humor and sentimentality at the same time. And I love how Alice bounced back from becoming sentimental at the end. Thanks for this, and where’s that next chapter?

“there’s still a chance for me out there…” Oh, we love you, Alice!
