Bette must be dying right now if she knew where I was exactly. I sat across from Tina discussing the film industry and this newly production shes involved with. She spoke very passionately about her work. She seemed very excited about the new project and ate her chicken salad feverishly. Bette fancied chicken salad too. Compatibility in cuisines, check.
Soon enough I got whatever I wanted for the interview and I changed the subject to Eric.
Hey, I thought you were supposed to get to know my background first before the interview starts? You completely forgot your ritual.

In the bathroom I attempted to dial Bettes office but I kept on messing it up. Was it because I suddenly forgot the number I dialed almost everyday for the last three years? Or was it because Im thinking that Im messing with fate again and Ive gone way too far this time? Yahit was neither. I guess I was just too caught up in the moment that I was a bit ecstatic for holding my excitement altogether. Im ruthless like that.
