"T? Baby, what’s this?"
With a smirk, Bette held up the navy blue dress Tina had worn during their first date and waited for the beautiful blonde to enter the laundry room. A second later, Tina popped her head inside with a curious yet nervous look on her face.
"What’s, what?"
"This" Bette allowed herself the small smirk as she approached the blonde and stretched out the material to reveal a very small area with faint white, distinctive stain.
Tina’s eyes immediately widened, her cheeks heating in a blush as she willed away her emotions and tried to keep a straight face.
"I don’t know. It looks like I sat on something. Gum maybe"
"You think so?" Bette asked holding that same smirk though she didn’t know for how much longer she would be able to hold back a full round of laughter. She knew exactly what the stain was and where it had come from but it so much more fun to tease her beautiful lover, "I don’t know . . it doesn’t look like gum to me"
"Are you sure? I mean . . it’s a little sticky like gum" Tina didn’t dare look Bette in the eye, she knew her explanation was a load of crap.
"Oh it’s sticky alright" Bette’s smile grew wider as she fought like mad to hold back her laughter threatening to escape. Tina looked so cute shy and embarrassed like that, it almost made Bette want to stop her teasing and ravish the blonde right there and then. Key word: almost. This was much too fun.
Pursing her lips to hide her smile, Bette waited for a response from Tina as silence filled the room. The blonde was purposely avoiding eye contact but it didn’t last for long, soon hazel eyes met brown and Bette was given a very tortured expression.

And the excitement starts once again… Hopefully Bette will tell Ava with enough force to convince her to back off and leave her alone. And, hopefully she won’t screw things up between Bette and Tina, and neither will Sam. Thanks for posting. Great story.
lol! I’m glad you cleared up the hand question… Tina’s embarrassment was funny, but completely understandable. I hope she and Bette at least get to enjoy the fact that Bette’s surprising her in NY, because the drama train has left the station and seems due to be bringing that a-hole Ava. Ugh. Pity that Shane held Carmen back, Ava is in dire need of a beat down. All things in good time, I suppose. ;P Thanks for the post, Liah! :)
Laughed so hard at the comment Alice made to Ada about not being able to count. This was such a cute chapter and not to mention hot! You should have a warning in the description saying “Might need an oxygen tank for love scene” lol. Love this story so much can’t wait for more :D
