It was three in the afternoon when they dropped Kit off at the airport to catch her plane back to LA. Breakfast had been a hit as Ozzie loved the pancakes and then they went for a walk in the Park and talked some more. It was decided that Kit would be there for Tina in whatever way she could help and Bette would let her know when she was comfortable with sharing the news with Tina.

When Kit arrived home, Tina let her know that she knew where Bette was and what she had done that weekend in attending the show at the gallery. Kit looked at her with surprise and then noticed the tears in her eyes. In that moment, she allowed Kit to hold her for comfort. Kit apologized for not being honest with her but Tina replied that she understood why as it was her past ways of being in the world that had brought her to that point of being without the love of her life. She shared out loud that she was having her and Bette’s baby soon and so wanted to have her family back intact.

Kit then explained that she had shared the information with Bette about the baby, so that the process of her accepting that fact could begin as she was in shock with the information regarding the pregnancy. Tina was appreciative of Kit doing that. Then the other shoe fell, as Kit shared that Bette also had a surprise and Tina’s eyes went big thinking that she had a new love in her life. Kit noticed her eyes and giggled inside knowing that Tina went to the extreme in her thinking.

“Here, I’ll show you what I mean.” Kit said to her as she reached for her phone and brought up a gorgeous photo of Bette and Ozzie and showed it to her. Tina was quite touched by the beauty of what she saw in the photo and her emotions went all over the board. Kit watched the many sentiments move across her face as she gazed at the phone’s photo. When Tina looked up at her, Kit smiled. “That’s the new man in her life.”
