New Year has already passed a few days ago, but winter in Massachusetts is a typical portrait of a picture of a Christmas postcard, where streets are covered by snow and snowmen rest in the front yards of the houses, with bright white bridges jumping over frozen creeks, icicles hanging from leafy trees, and the blue lights of the Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Bridge connecting Worcester and Shrewsbury showing its great majesty; a car is leaving the porch of Alice’s and Dana’s residence and inside, the happy couple is talking about their new project, to conceive a child, the girls are planning to get married after Dana comes back from the Australian Open tournament, they have already fixed the date, February 14, but Alice is eager to start the trials to get pregnant as soon as possible, she and her fiancé understand that the insemination process can take several attempts; they have chosen Howie, Dana’s brother, as a donor, and the boy just left after giving Alice the specimen that has been previously washed and tested in Dr. Melanie Wilson’s pregnancy clinic, a preferred medical center by lesbians who want to have progeny; Dana, though happy, is a little uncomfortable on touching the syringe with the sample of her brother, but she will do anything to get a baby with Alice, and this is the special night because the famous tennis player should travel to Australia in the next three days; but before they go to their bedroom to proceed with their tantalizing project, they also talk about the wedding invitations which have been already sent and the party that is being prepared by Leonor and Helena with the secret participation of Sharon Fairbanks, Dana’s mother; after a brief recollection of the wedding preparations, the girls go to their bedroom.
Alice: “do we have everything we need?”
Dana: “yup…, the syringe, the catheter, the sample in the container, we need pillows…, better two, so your hips must stay raised enough…hmm, oh…, my hands, remember baby you have to orgasm to stuck up the sperm…, eww…, Howie’s shit…, so disgusting…”
Alice: “Dana…, it is our baby!!!”
Dana: “okay, okay…, you are right… let’s do it”
Dana’s hands start shaking filling the viscous liquid in the syringe, so Alice intervened.

Great chapter. I really love the story.
I have one question, who is the redhead that was hidden in the room when the intruder was in Tina’s office and stole her stuff? And why didn’t she do anything or informed Tina.
So Bette was afraid in the beginning that Tina would steal her place and competed against her. She also met Tina’s sister Louise who is ready to give her life to protect Tina.
There is a lot going on and i waiting patiently how everything will play out.

I’m very glad you like the story. Well the redhead is a very well known character in TLW, and works as intern in Tina’s team, but she also works for someone else (the good guys), she is just spying, and reporting to her other boss; I was going to include them in this chapter, but it was going to be too long.
Yes, that is the way our wonderful couple met, Bette is very nice but economically insecure because her father doesn’t support her career choice; Tina is not innocent, but she is very inside the closet and is very shy but she knows very well what she wants, (BP).
The following chapters are going to show memories of the past; how they and the other couples developed their relationships, and of course we will continue with the present conspiracy, I hope I won’t get you confused, but if there is something not clear please let me know.

Thanks for reading, yes things are going to get harder, for Dana and many others; but we need Bette and Tina in good shape to sort all the difficulties that are in the way.
The flashbacks will help to understand, why these bad things are happening and why our wonderful couple needs to stay close.
