The Secret of Kew Garden Hills
“What if you aren’t in the mood?” Ashley asked.
“He doesn’t ask if I’m in the mood.” Rina responded.
“Sounds like rape,” Ashley said.
“That’s ridiculous. He doesn’t force me, he’s my husband. It is my biblical duty. Our religion requires that we procreate,” Rina explained.
“So you have never enjoyed sex?” Ashley asked.
Rina didn’t respond. They were sitting on a bench near Ashley’s apartment, in a small park. Ashley leaned in and spoke low. “I promise, if you let me, I will make it enjoyable for you,” Ashley said sweetly, and briefly kissed her on the cheek.
If Rina was a different kind of girl, she would have grabbed her right there, kissed her boldly, not caring who saw, and then raced Ashley back to her apartment. But Rina was a girl of careful and quiet consideration, that needed to plan these kind of things, and would want her first time with Ashley to be special.
She took Ashley’s hand and whispered back. “I know you would. I am going to get away. I will be all yours this weekend.”
That Friday, they had gone out for sushi. Rina was kosher, and she wouldn’t drive on a Friday, so they walked to the restaurant. The saki made her a bit tipsy. Rina desperately just wanted to be alone with Ashley. Rina couldn’t believe she would finally experience everything she was thinking about her whole life, with someone she deeply cared for, and someone she sensed cared for her back. Rina can’t believe, these few short weeks later, how this girl invaded her mind to the point where she couldn’t stop thinking about her. Rina was afraid all the time her name might slip out, but this had happened before. She was used to hiding it. They should have ordered in, but it was such a treat for her to be out. Rina couldn’t resist. Rina and Ashley walked into Ashley’s apartment building, past the doorman, who said “Good evening, Miss Ashley” and “Hi” to Rina, and some neighbors waiting at the elevator. Did they all know? Could they all see? She wasn’t really supposed to be in the elevator, but if someone else pushed the button, she guessed it was ok.
The ladies walked into the apartment, and she let the Ashley turn the light on. Ashley led her to the couch. When Ashley offered her more to drink, Rina politely declined. Ashley poured herself some wine in the kitchen and then sat down. ”It is so nice to have company on a Friday night. Are you hungry? I bought some of that babka you had mentioned,” Ashley said.

Very sweet story. Now will Rina and Ashley become a couple? Or is this just a short term dallance? A married woman with two children in a religiously conservative family and community is going to be a hard environment to escape. Its a wonder she has computer access.
