I yelled and got ready to protect myself; arms up. But I never felt anything. Nothing but cool air brush against my left cheek. I managed to open my eyes slightly and saw him perfectly aligned in his seat.

''How did you do that?!'' I yelled.

He smirked, ''Logan told me you were curious about my power, so I decided to show you.''

''What?! How to give people heart attacks?!'' I hissed.

He smirked and only said one word, ''hallucination.''

I blinked and felt kinda sick. I saw his playful face turn serious.

''I would never hurt you,'' he whispered.

I felt my face turn the slightest bit pink, ''really?'' I asked.

''Really,'' he brushed my cheek.

''Luc… You're one the-''

I was cut off by someone clearing their throats.

''Here,'' Josh said putting the plates in front of our faces.

We nodded and he left. I looked at Luc with a curious expression.

''I thought… Vampires,'' I whispered that word, ''only drank blood.''

He smirked, ''prop food. And yes, we can in fact eat human food.'' He took a bite and grinned, showing his perfect white teeth.

My right eye twitched up and down.

''I have a lot to learn,'' I said.

He grinned and started to eat his yummy looking food. I tore my eyes away from his perfect face for one minute. It wasn't polite to stare, and I was hungry. I took three bites and looked up. To my surprise, he was already done. I blinked rapidly and he grinned.

''Super vampire speed?'' I guessed.

''Super vampire hunger,'' he corrected.

His grin widened as I started to pick at my food. I wasn't that hungry, only ate half of it.

''You done?'' He asked.

''Yeah,'' I said.

''Check.''

The waitress smiled and nodded. Before I could stand up to pull on Luc's jacket, she was there again. He smiled and paid with a large wad of cash. When we were out of the restaurant, I looked at him.

''Eum… How'd you get so rich?'' I asked.

He grinned, ''Logan has a promising job.'' Was all he said.
