    Bella's Little Sister!

    ''Oh,'' I said.

''What would you like to start with?'' His voice more gentle now.

I smiled, ''let's start with math.''

    3 Hours Later…

Math went better than French, but nothing could go worse than Science. Science sucked. End of story. I didn't know if Luc was stressed but I knew I was.

''Let's put away the books,'' he suggested watching me closely.

I sighed and nodded. I really didn't care about putting Science away. It could burn in hell for all I care.

''What time is it?'' I asked rubbing my temples.

    ''It's 8:47,'' Luc's voice held some humor.

I smiled and laid down on my bed.

    ''Too much learning,'' I muttered.

Luc laughed. It was a beautiful sound. I never wanted it to go away. I sat up, leaning against my elbows, looking in his beautiful honey colored eyes. I chewed on my bottom lip, so gently. I wish I could think of something to say. Being stared at was something I didn't like. My cheeks started to flush and I built up the guts to say something.

''What?'' I turned out squeakier than I hoped.

    He grinned hugely, ''nothing, Julie.''

My lips made a hard line and I stuck out my tongue. In a flash, his fingers grabbed it and he smirked.

    ''Lawt gwao,'' I mumbled.

He snickered and let my tongue free.

    'Thank you,'' I said.

He nodded gently and everything fell silent again. I didn't like the silence; it burned.

    ''You're silent,'' Luc noted.

    ''So are you,'' I said.

He grinned, ''for once, I have nothing to say.''

    I sighed, ''yeah, me too.''

His head snapped up towards the stairs and in a second, he was sitting on the chair with his stuff on the nightstand. I didn't understand until my father was in view.

''Time for everyone to leave,'' he said.

Luc nodded and started to put away his stuff. My father, still at the stairs, crossed his arms. I sighed loud enough for him to hear but he didn't move. This was going to be a very annoying couple years. We all climbed the wooden, creaky stairs in silence. The silence (which again, burns) lasted until we were at the front door. Charlie leaned against the wall.

    ''Dad,'' I hissed.

    He stayed silent.

    ''Dad! Games on!'' Bella called.

He gave Luc a warning glace.

''It was nice to meet you, Chief Swan,'' Luc smiled, extending his hand.

Charlie made a face, ''it was nice to meet you too, Luc. I hope… To see you again.'' They shock hands.

When dad was gone, I opened the door slightly. Luc and I looked into each others eyes for what felt like forever. He lifted my chin with his cool fingers and smiled. My cheeks turned slightly pink. His smile was beautiful; everything about him was beautiful. He leaned in until our noses were touching. His hand started to caress my cheek, following the same circular motion. It was like I couldn't think straight at the moment. Everything was a blur. It was giving me a headache so I closed my eyes. His thumb traced my lips slightly, making me shiver. Once again, he pulled his face closer to mine, until our lips touched. This kiss was more gentle. It was like he didn't want to hurt me. I counted seven seconds before he let go. My eyes opened to see  a beautiful, smiling vampire. His smile faded into anger in a second.

    ''Shit,'' he cursed.

    ''What?'' I asked.

''They followed me here. How could I not hear them?'' He growled.

    ''Who?'' I asked.

    ''Melissa and Hezekiah,'' he muttered.
