    Author Notes:

    Spencer used to be a geeky freshman who only had eyes for Ashley, the gorgeous senior and also her sister’s best friend. Ashley moves to New York, but comes back to L.A. 4 years later. Now that she’s back will she see Spencer differently?

    The plane bumped along the ground. Ashley breathed a sigh of relief. One flight down…
    She exited the plane and picked up her baggage. Now where was he supposed to meet them again?
    "Ashley! Hey girl!"

    Ashley smiled and turned just in time to be caught in a bear hug.

    "I’ve missed you, you big dork!" Kyla started to ruffle up the brunettes hair.

    "Alright, alright, enough already! Stop messin’ up my hair!" Ashley shouted, pushing Kyla off. She then laughed and shoved her friend. "How the hell have you been, girl?"

    "Good, good. Soon to be leg shackled to this old dork over here!" Kyla laughed and quickly winced as Aiden hit her on her arm. "Ouch! Aiden!"

    "I am not OLD, Kyla! I’ll have you know that I look pretty damn sexy for my age!" Aiden stated, gesturing to himself.

    Ashley shook her head in amusement. Same old Aiden. "I see you haven’t changed much Aid." Ashley leaned to give Aiden a hug..

    "I know. Thank you." Aiden scoffed.

    "Well, let’s get going." Kyla said, picking up one of Ashley’s bags. "Gotta get on back to the old homestead before Spencer burns dinner. Nothing like home cooking, huh?"

    Ashley blanched. Spencer was cooking? The last time she’d attempted a cake she’d nearly set the house on fire. Maybe she should’ve eaten on the plane.

    Kyla laughed jovially. "I’m just kidding, Ash! Like Spencer would get anywhere near a stove after the fire department came that one time." she stopped at the car and put Ashley’s bags in the trunk. "Let’s pick up some chicken, huh? I’m sure Spencer’s really excited to see you."

    Spencer was about to vomit.

    After she’d gotten home from the Bridal Shop with Kyla, she’d rushed around like a mad woman trying to get herself together. She’d called Megan and persuaded her to take her out to a fancy dinner. NOT an easy task. She’d have to finagle out of some grabby encounters tonight.
    She shuddered. Megan was so pushy when it came to that stuff. Not that she was a prude… she just wasn’t ready for that yet. Spencer adjusted her bra. It wasn’t like she hadn’t heard the facts about sex CONSTANTLY for the past 3 years. After Aiden had moved in, that was all she’d heard about. Kyla had almost gone into a coma one day after she’d come home and overheard Aiden giving Spencer tips on good moves to put on her girlfriend. Spencer giggled. That had been pretty funny.

    She consulted the mirror once more. Slightly tousled, long blonde hair. Smoky eyes and full pouty red lips. Black slip of a dress with high-heeled black strappy sandals. She looked as good as she was going to get.
    Spencer sprayed herself with perfume and started towards the stairs. That’s when she heard them.

    "Oh God… not yet!" She scrambled back into her room. "Couldn’t they have waited until after I had left!" She wandered around the room aimlessly, cradling herself.

    She stopped abruptly. Why was she acting like this? She wasn’t the same nerdy schoolgirl she’d once been. She was hot, Goddamit! Girls and guys alike slobbered over her. She’s was a cheerleader for fuck’s sake! She could do this.
    Spencer squared her shoulders and headed out the door.

I’m so excited to see Ashley’s reaction. All I have to say is PLEASE don’t let Spence act like a complete goober in front of Ash. Make her seem calm cool and collected. That is the way to do, I think. If Spencer acts all dorky I’ll feel all embarrassed for her. You could write that and I’d still read it tho. PMS please. Love xoXOxo
