[no.] I sent back to her

“look I said I was sorry…” she told me

“I’m not saying I don’t forgive you, I’m just saying I don’t know what to say…” I told her

“so…do you maybe want to hang out tonight?” she asked

“uh I actually cant…” I told her “…I have a college essay due by tomorrow morning…” I explained then she looked upset like I was mad at her then I put my hand on her thigh “hey I’m not mad at you…I really need to work on this essay though”

“ok…” she said smiling weakly

“Ashley!” Aiden yelled flagging me over

“I’ll be right back…” I told her kissing her on the cheek then I ran over to him “hey what’s up?”

“did you ask her to homecoming?” he asked me

“no…not yet, I don’t even know if she’ll be able to go…” I told him

“why not?”

“would you want to be at homecoming on crutches?” I asked him

“no….but if she can’t go you’re still going with me and Katie right?”

“I don’t know…” I told him

“seriously ash…you’ve been with her every single day and night for two weeks…and I know I sound like a douche bag because she’s your girlfriend, but this is senior homecoming…the last one you’ll ever go to” he told me “please come with us”

“Aiden…I don’t know…” I told him

“Spencer has next year…you don’t…and I’m sorry, but it’s true” he said then he went back to class and I went back over by Spencer and realized I needed to ask her to homecoming soon

I went back over by Spencer and she was just browsing her phone “what was that about? It looked like you guys were arguing…” she said

“what? no…we’re fine” I told her

The next night I told Spencer’s brother to help me out with asking her to homecoming, so he told me he’d drop her off at the beach per my request blind folded.

When she got out of the car, I walked her in front of this little gazebo and I had a sign hanging then I had a single white rose in front of me then I took the blind fold off and she read the sign that said [Will You Go to Homecoming with Me?]
