“your breath smells” I said to her then she smiled and blew into my face “gross!” I said sitting up then she pulled me back into her “that was nasty” I told her

“so I’m guessing I don’t get a kiss?” she asked

“brush your teeth then maybe I’ll consider” I told her laughing as she held me in her arms

She eventually got up and went to take a shower “you sure you don’t want to come with me?” she asked sticking her head out of the door

“yeah…I’m sure” I told her

“ok…be that way then…” she said shutting the door

When she got out of the shower we hung out the whole day, and we pretty much stayed in her house because it was just a little cold outside. I drove to physical therapy at around six in the afternoon, did the usual routine…then I went back home and my dad was making dinner

“hey hun…how was physical therapy?” my mom asked me

“hard…Jim is like kicking my ass” I told her

“yeah well one more month” my dad told me then I sat down at the counter

“finally…” I told him

“no Ashley tonight?” he asked

“no she’s doing a family dinner with her parents and sister” I explained

“oh…more for us then…” he said

“honey how long have you and Ashley been together?” my mom asked me

“wow, mom that is so random” I told her “and kind of awkward”

“I’m just wondering…” she said

“six months…” I told her “…and this is getting awkward for me, so I’m gona be up in my room” I said walking away and up the stairs

“yo yo yiggity yo” Ashley said answering her phone and I couldn’t help but laugh a little

“hey, so I know I’m like interrupting your family dinner, but I have something funny to tell you” I told her

“no worries, I’m outside anyways…so what’s up?” she asked

“so number one, my dad made dinner for you…like he asked if you were coming over and I told him no then he goes ‘oh, more for us then’…” I told her and she laughed

“oh wow” she said

“then my mom randomly goes ‘how long have you and Ashley been together?’…that’s when I walked upstairs” I told her and she laughed again
