    Author Notes:

    Good thing her back was to my front, because I was smiling like a five year old who was just given a lollipop. Spencer then pulled me incredibly closer to her even though there was barely any space separating us to begin with.

    Spencer: Take it, it won’t bite.

    I held out my hand and cringed upon her taking it.

    Spencer: Ash I’m so sorry about your hand.

    She gently rubbed over my bruised knuckles then brought my hand up to her mouth and placed light kisses on each finger. She then looked at me with sympathy in her eyes. I pulled her close to me so my mouth was right next to her ear and whispered to her.

    Ashley: Friends.

    I gently traced a path with my nose along her jaw as I pulled away. Her scent was driving me crazy.

    Ashley: Would you maybe want to go for a walk around campus? I know it’s cold out and there’s still some snow, but I really just need to get out of here.

    Spencer: Yeah, sure, I’d love to.

    Spencer and I walked outside for an hour, talking about anything and everything. It was so cute the way her eyes lit up when she talked about the documentary she was making for one of her classes. She was also really proud of me for finally coming out to Kristen.

    Spencer: Hey Ash. Ever made a snow angel?

    Ashley: Yeah who hasn’t?

    Spencer laid down in the snow.

    Spencer: Make one with me?

    How could I say no to her? I laid down next to her and began to make my snow angel.

    Spencer: You know Ashley. I want to apologize for the way I acted toward you the night you left.

    Ashley: Look the past is the past. I’m not going to dwell on it if you’re not.

    Spencer: I’m just sorry for pushing you to leave without really listening to what you had to say. I now understand your motives behind what you did and I probably would have done the same had I been in a similar situation.

    Ashley: I want you to know that I really did just want to hang out with you and I wasn’t just doing it for Kristen. I really like you Spencer and I hope you feel the same.

    Spencer rolled on her side, resting her head on her arm and stared me directly in the eyes. The moonlight shined down on her, highlighting all of her beautiful features.

    Spencer: Ever been kissed in the snow?

    I just smiled liking where this was going. I leaned in slowly then backed off remembering the laser tag incident.
