    Chocolate syrup makes a comeback. Need I say more?

    “I do believe we are the luckiest men in the world,” Robbie declared. I pulled apart, the moment ruined, as Spencer started hysterically laughing. I threw an empty cup at him, just for effect.

    “Ash, why don’t we tease ‘em a little more?” Spencer suggested.

    “Yes. Yes! We want to be teased,” Robbie exclaimed. That didn’t sound like too bad of an idea. I grinned at Spencer suggestively before I leaned in and caught her lips in mine again, deepening it this time as I felt her pull me closer by the back of my neck. After a few moments, when I felt we were pushing the ‘teasing’ part and heading too close to full out porn, I pulled away, planting one more brief peck on her lips.

    “Ok, we are totally fucking lucky, dude,” Jordan stated. Spencer and I just laughed; she moved closer and wrapped her arms around me, leaning into my side. Nothing felt better than that. Nothing.

    After another hour or so, I could sense Spencer was beginning to fade. Every other time I looked over, her eyes were closed. And after a few more minutes, I could tell she was definitely out.

    “Alright, I think we’re gonna call it a night,” I told Robbie and Jordan, pointing to Spencer.

    “Cool.”

    “If you guys wanna stay over, I have the other bedroom. There’s a pullout couch in there, too.”

    “Nah, we’re good,” Robbie replied.

    “Sorry we, uh… interrupted,” Jordan added.

    “No it’s okay; you had good intentions. See you guys soon,” I whispered. They let themselves out and I gently shook Spencer. She opened her eyes tentatively. “Hey you… I don’t think I need to ask if you’re ready to go to sleep.”

    “Mmm… where’d they go?”

    “They just left. Come on sleepy.” I removed her arms from their position around my torso and helped her back to the bedroom. I spotted the notorious bottle of chocolate syrup and stared longingly at it, wishing we’d been able to finish what we started. But at least I had Spencer’s ‘to be continued’ promise.

     

     

    The next day, Spencer had to leave early for a meeting with her college advisor person or something. I loafed around for a little until I got hungry; I decided now would be as good of a time as any to go grocery shopping, something I hadn’t done in about a month. I got dressed and grabbed a jacket, noting it was still kind of cold even though it was April. Before I was done putting the finishing touches on my makeup, my doorbell rang. I put down my concealer and went to get it.

    1. You know, I just read this story from beginging to end in the last few days. I just wanted to say thank you for posting because I’ve been glued to this story. The first part with Ash cheating on Spencer with Stella after Spencer left her family was intense. And so was their reunion. Everytime they agrued, broke up and made up, I blushed the whole time reading. You charcterize Ashley and Spencer to the point. And I love how you internalize their feelings. This is what I’d like to see on screen because its so intense. Sometimes, I felt like I was reading a normal everyday conversation between my gf and I. Please keep updating the chapters. I’d like to see them get past the distance in their relationship and have a family. I think Spencer would be a great mom and I think Ash WANTS to be a great parent but, I don’t know. Anyway, I got a late start but, I love this WHOLE story so please keep posting. pls pls pls

    4. dun dun du du dun du….thats right, Superman did a quick fly over to my all time favorite story line….the one that addicted me to this site…..from my new favorite story line. the marathon was boring me. who are we kidding i’m Superman. of course i have the stamina to get through both with out breaking a sweat. Ah this chapter. excellent. the boys were funny here. and i like that Ash is finally getting out her emotions. I would talk more, but the sixth leg of my marathon is waiting. ta ta *swishes away with cape a-flying*

    5. Wow. You definately hit a nerve with just about every emotion that my body knows how to use with this update. I know I shouldn’t want Ash to make up with her dad, cuz he sure as hell doesn’t deserve it, but from what this season of SON has taught us…life’s too short!! But still, she has every right to be as cautious as she has been! I can’t wait to see where you take this!!
