    Ashley’s side of things part two

     

    Stunned her eyes bolted up to meet her Fathers, pleading with him to understand.


    “This is over Ashley, starting right now”



    The pain in her chest was so intense, she would have sworn up and down that her heart had literally just broken. Ashley stared at her Father pleading with her eyes for him to understand. To for once consider what was right for her and not his image.


    “Dad,” she choked out finally, “please.”


    “I don’t know how long this has been going on Ashley, and I frankly don’t want to know. But whatever you have going on with this Carlin woman is over.”


    She had more hatred for him in this moment then she ever thought she could. He couldn’t understand, the only things running through his veins were money and power. Love, even for his own daughter, was always low on the list.


    “Dad I love her.”


    Anger barreled into her Fathers eyes and she felt herself pushing further back into her chair away from him. He stood suddenly grabbing her by the arm and pulling her out the front of the restaurant. He didn’t stop until they were in the back of his limo.


    “Now you listen to me very carefully. I have worked to long and to hard for you to fuck this up over as ridiculous a notion as love. Do you hear me? You are going to see her tonight, tonight Ashley, and your going to end this, am I making myself clear?”


    “I can’t.” She could barely see through her tears. She was starting to feel hysterical. Her Father had made her do and say horrible calculated things before, but this was too much.


    “When I caught you with that Wendy girl in collage I let it slide. I left it at your word that you would never do anything like that to embarrass me again.”


    Of course she remembered the day well. That was when Ash had permanently become Ashley Davis, the future face of “Davies Inc.” From that moment up until the moment she met Spencer everything in her life was an act. Spencer had freed her from her own self created lie.

    3. that bastard! okay, i totally wanted to leave a comment on that last chappie, unfortunately it wouldn’t let me for some reason. i’m glad we’re getting ashley’s side of the story tho. i mean, it still sucks, and i wish she stood up to him, but at the same time i understand her fears. i hope they can overcome this!

    4. Well that was extremely heart breaking. I understand Ashley now because she had almost no choice, but she needs to tell Spencer about it. This was a great update. PMS!
