    Memories – (Chapter: I Promise)

“Hey.”  She flashed me the smile that melted my heart every time.  “Class huh?”

After five years she still could make me blush like a ten year old school girl with a crush.  I was incapable of speech so I just continued to ogle her.

“Was this what you had planned?  A rendezvous in the lobby?”  She leaned into my ear so seductively, “because if that is the case I would rather have you to myself upstairs.”

There was not a chance that I could have wanted her anymore right then.  The fire burning between my legs was growing out of control trying to control myself was wasting valuable energy that I would need later.  She was growing restless as I forced myself to think of shoes and history class and anything else I could think of to get my desire to jump her under control.

                “Seriously Spencer, are you okay?”

I thought she was actually beginning to worry.  “You look absolutely amazing.”  I managed to sputter out.

“I wanted to look my best for you tonight.  I can’t tell you how happy I was to find out you weren’t really going to stand me up tonight.  I figured I owed it to you.”

“You never owe me anything.  Shall we?”  We walked out to the street arm in arm.

“Tell me you didn’t get a limo.”  She said in disbelief as she saw the white stretch parked directly in front of us with the driver standing by the door waiting for our arrival.

“Only the best for you tonight.”

I had made reservations at Jean Georges, because she had wanted to go there since she spotted it one afternoon when we accidentally wandered into the Trump Tower.  She looked at me and smiled when she figured out our destination.  I loved seeing her happy and and this was only the beginning of my plans for the night.

                “Right this way Ms. Carlin.”

We were seated and placed our meal order when we were ready.  We talked and talked and talked about everything.  The latest music drama she was facing, the mole on my English teachers face, how beautiful the restaurant was, how perfect the evening was. She told me how much she loved me and I told her how much I loved her.  We were there much longer than I had planned, but it did not matter, because all that mattered was being there with her.
