Neighbor-Boy – (Chapter: Eleven-A)
It’s been five days since Spencer and Ashden returned. Ashden is sitting in his room, on his bed, shaking. Christine is on her way back. They could only keep her as long as she wanted to stay. He didn’t want it to be kidnapping. “Please, please, please let this be ok.” He whispers. “Ash…” There’s a knock on his door. “Y-yea? I-it’s open.” He gulps. Christine opens the door. “Can we talk?” She walks in like she’s on a glass floor. “I guess we could. Since you took the time to come all the way up here.” He’s wary of her.
“I uh don’t know where to start.” She sits in his computer chair. “Thank you. For the spa week. I really needed that after what happened with James. They said it was a gift from my son. And I thought What son? But then I realized they meant you. When I was there they had this workshop, ‘Tolerance and Acceptance’. It was on my schedule so I went. And there were some other moms there. They were talking about their kids. One said her daughter was in a phase. Another said her daughter was a sinner and that the devil was making her gay. One said she didn’t even know who her daughter is anymore. And I thought Me either. So I said ‘My daughter isn’t even my daughter anymore. She wants to be my son instead.’ When it was my turn to share I told them about when you came out to me, I know what it’s called now. And the instructor frowned at me. ‘I know I handled this all wrong. But I gave birth to a girl. That was the one thing I thought would never change. I’m completely blindsided here. How am I supposed to make her see that there’s a reason she’s a girl? That she’s supposed to be.’ I was crying a little when I said this. ‘You’re not. You’re supposed to support your son’s effort to establish a new self. He needs you; more than ever. You should be there for him. Get to know him. Try to help him transition.’ She gave me a pamphlet and a tissue. ‘What if I don’t want to say goodbye? What if I don’t want a son? How do I fix her?’ I stood up. ‘You lose her and never get to know him.’ We don’t even know each other. But, I don’t want to lose you Ash. I don’t wanna say goodbye. I just don’t understand. Why?” Christine dabs her eyes with a tissue.

wow. that was just intense. I don’t even know where to start. I feel so bad for ashden because christine is too damn self centered to see that ashden is not comfortable as ashley (as much as I wish he were). I think everyone would agree that that one hurt, even if they aren’t experiencing this particular situation. anyway great great update. very powerful. pms.
Holy Shit
I’m so happy that even through all the shit Christine has put him through he still doesn’t give up on being a boy. I like that about him. Can’t wait to see how he uses the video footage.
wow… that was super intense. i cringed just reading this. Christine is a bitch and i hope Ashden can get out of this situation with himself still attached, and Spencer beside him.
that was intense… spencer needs to come to the rescue. christine… gah! i hate her… I knew it was too good to be true. i had my doubts. i wonder what spencer’s house is up to… pms
Spencer’s part might take longer than I thought. I’m gonna be busy until Sunday or possibly Monday. Sorry.
Christine is a fucking bitch but i like it pms
I knew Christine seemed too fake about it in the beginning. I kept thinking, this is too easy, something’s up. Then her true colors came out. Christine really needs help, treating Ashden like that just for her image. I can’t wait to what Ashden does with this video footage, PMASAP!!!
damn!! that was freaking intense. Christine is such a bitch!!
that was intense! but im soooo glad 4 ash. hope she gets her mom sent to jail or sumthin
