Right after we got downstairs Spencer jumped on my back for a piggy back ride, then when I started spinning her around she flipped

“Ashley! Stop!” she screamed wrapping her arms around my neck tight

“I will if you stop choking me” I told her gasping for air then I put her down as we got into the kitchen

“there’s the happy couple” Aiden said

“yep…here we are” I said wrapping my arms around Spencer’s waist

“so…you two disappeared last night” he pointed out

“um…we did?” Spencer asked playing dumb

“I’m pretty sure we were still here…” I said

“yeah up in your bed” Kyla said laughing a little

“wow…was that a joke?” I asked her then she just looked away “so who else stayed over?” I asked them both

“um…I think Becca’s still here…then like Brooke and Megan, then Andrew…but he’s asleep by the pool or something…” he told me

“uhm no…I woke up and he was in my bed…I was like what the fuck…” she said sarcastically and we laughed

“becca’s here?” I asked him

“yeah…well I’m pretty sure she’s still here…is that ok?” Kyla answered

“yeah…” I replied

“are you two still fighting?” Aiden asked

“um…no…we decided to start the new year off as friends…” I told him then I moved next to Spencer instead of behind her and we were all about to take a sip of our coffee until Aiden stopped us

“wait…wait guys…we have to make a toast or new years resolution or something” he told us

“ok…any ideas?” I asked him

“um…yeah…” he started “here’s to hanging out, making out and sneak out…this year whatever happens, happens…no regrets” he said

“good resolution” I told him

“cheers to that” Spencer said holding up her cup and we all did too

So…new years was good, but can we fast forward about five months to our regional qualifier fast pitch game? Good…I knew you wouldn’t mind.

But here’s an update of the past five months…Spencer and I have actually been taking a little bit of a break. Hard to believe I know. It’s just the season started and I didn’t spend enough time with her which made me feel guilty, and since Becca and I were friends again I guess my feelings for her may have been coming back…but I was confused…so Spencer and I took a break, but we’re still friends…and Becca and I are like…casually dating I guess.
