She’s into me, Right? – (Chapter: A Night At The Movies.)

Aiden was oblivious to their hand holding. The movie was just getting interesting and the main character was kicking major ass. Aiden kept his eyes on the screen as he leaned over to Ashley.
“You done with the popcorn?” he whispered.
“Yeah.” Ashley’s voice was husky but still, Aiden remained ignorant.
He grabbed the tub that was sitting on her lap and began to happily munch away. Spencer was barely breathing. Ashley was holding her hand and she was sure nothing could feel better. She was wrong.
Ashley rubbed her thumb over the curve of Spencer’s hand and then moved to the pulse point on her wrist. Spencer worked hard not to gasp, but also to keep breathing. It was unlike anything she’d ever felt before. The darkness was adding into the odd sexual tension between them, as was the innocent touching of hands. Spencer wiggled her fingers to make sure it was really happening. Ashley stopped moving her thumb over Spencer’s hand, a little confused. The blonde smiled. Ashley was just as unsure as she was. This time Spencer took the lead and she traced her fingers upwards on Ashley’s arm. The brunette audibly gasped in surprise of Spencer’s boldness. The blonde continued up Ashley’s arm, feeling the trail of goose bumps she was leaving behind. When she reached half way past Ashley’s elbow she made her way back down. They both had gianormous smiles on their faces. Spencer and Ashley leaned towards each other until their bare shoulders were touching, content with such minimal contact.
Before they knew it the movie ended. Time seems to pass so fast when you’re caught up in the moment. When they lights came on they jerked away from each other, the odd spell brought on by the darkness broken. They didn’t want Aiden to see them together for some reason. It just didn’t seem right at that point.
Aiden stood up and stretched.
“What did you guys think of the movie?” he asked.
Ashley and Spencer glanced at each other and gave the other a secret smile. They kept looking at each other but Spencer responded to the question.
“It was pretty good. I definitely think I could sit through it again. What do you think Ash?”
Ashley looked over her shoulder at Aiden and chuckled. “Yup. I could do that again.”
Aiden looked a little confused. It was like their words had double meaning, though for the life of him he couldn’t figure it out. He just smiled complacently not worrying about it.
“What do you say we get out of here and get something to eat?” Ashley suggested.
Spencer’s and her candy sat untouched in their hands, unlike Aiden who was holding an empty carton of Milk Duds and a less than half full tub of popcorn. He may have filled up on junk food but he was sure he could pack more edible substances in his stomach.
“I’m in.” he replied.
“Me, too” Spencer said.
“Great,” Ashley said after clapping her hands together. “Let’s get going.”
And with those few words the group was off, ignoring the yearning that Spencer and Ashley felt for each other.

Yay! Milk duds. Well, we don’t get them here. I love Reeses cups, but we don’t get them here either. it’s depressing. We have Tim-tams though, and you guys don’t, so it all balances. Anyway, loved the update. Who hasn’t done that in a movie theatre? Or my first date with my first girlfriend in a normal theatre :) Awww, sweet. Now send them home to bonk.

Aw. You guys are super nice. I have things to say though. Goldfish CAN drown, if they’re not in water. (Duh! they drown in oxygen). Milk Duds suck. So Bad. I hate ’em and I’m glad at least one person agrees with me. And lastly, I’m so taking my time with the whole Spashley relationship. They most probably aren’t going to ‘bonk’ after their first ‘date’. But hey, hoping never hurt nobody. ;) I love you guys. People who comment are my favorite!
