Tell Me Where We Go From Here… – (Chapter: Fun In the Sun)

Aiden showed up at the house too soon, in Ashley’s mind. Things with her and Spencer had just gotten started no sooner than it was ended, and she was a little aggrivated at the loss of privacy that she endured with her girlfriend.

Aiden walked into her bedroom, his hands covering his eyes. "Is it okay to look?" Spencer giggled and affirmed.

"Hey ladies. You ready to go soak up the sun?" The built guy questioned the couple. He always had the corniest phrases.

"Yeah, just let me grab my purse,"Ashley hopped off the bed to locate her belonging. Once everyone had their gear, they loaded up Aiden’s car with some goods, and ‘hit the road’(As Aiden would state it).

The day was beautiful. The sun was shinning, it was hot, but not humid, and Ashley couldn’t help but notice the glow around Spencer that the rays of sun created, making her more stunning than she already was. She waltzed through the sand, letting her hair flow gently behind her with the little breeze that was given, putting the smaller girl into a love-struck trance with each step.

Aiden noticed her charm, too. And he couldn’t help but remember what it was like being with her, though it was only for a short time. He missed when he held her close, getting an intake of her suave tangerine shampoo still lingering in her hair. But, she belonged to Ashley now, and those emotions just had to be shut away in order to keep the tight friendship he held with the two.

It’s not fucking fair. What does Ashley have that I don’t? No. Stop it. You’re getting too jealous of something you know will never happen again. Besides, your friendship is much more important. Suck it up. He tried to keep thinking positive as they unravelled their towels, laying them in the sand in a neat row.

"Aid, you’re aweful quiet? What’s going through that pea-sized brain of yours?" Spencer noticed his wondering face. He snapped back out from his thoughts, shrugging off to show nothing was wrong.

"Race you to the water, Davies!" He stripped off his shirt and sprinted across the sand, his opponent close behind. He dived in headfirst, coming up to only have a petite brunette lung onto his back in frustration.
