Tell Me Where We Go From Here… – (Chapter: Fun In the Sun)

How do you feel? That is the question.
But i forget.. you dont expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes
Initialized and folded up like paper dolls and little notes.
You cant expect a bit of hope
And while your outside looking in,
    Describing what you see,
Remember what your staring at is me.

Ashley took this time to appreciate what she had surrounding her today. She had the beautiful beach, the brilliant weather in L.A., she had her best friend, Aiden, who she had gone through so much with, and was so grateful that he stuck around through everything, and she had this gorgeous, breath-taking girl laying next to her. She hadn’t known the Ohio native for the longest time, but it was a long enough for her to say she loved her, which she had never told anyone. It was enough time for her to give every effort in her body to make their relationship perfect, for her to be a kinder, softer, more affectionate person. It was enough for her to stay sober, and away from quick-fixes, and one night stands that had relieved her so many times ago.

It was enough for her to feel truly, completely happy. Not the happy where she would laugh and smile, but the happy where she could just lay and appreciate every good thing life had handed her. She didn’t believe in God or anything like that, but she knew some guy up there was keeping her away from going too far with those needles, all the booze and pick ups. So, yeah, He was also up there giving some major life-wedgies, but He kept her around long enough to find the most beautiful, real thing in her life. The woman of her dreams, a beautiful city, and good friendship to keep her strong.

And with a smile played across her face, she soon dozed off in the sun, too.

When she awoke, Ashleycould feel the tightness of her skin. She moaned, "Aw, man!" looking herself over, she quickly regretted on re-applying sunscreen before her slumber.

The sun had just begun its colors of the sunset. Spencer came up behind her girlfriend and wrapper her arms lovingly around the brunette’s waist. She sat down behind her, planting butterfly kisses along her shoulderline, and patiently awaited the sun’s setting. The moment was beautiful, and though she was in pain, Ashley still couldn;t help but smile at the love vibe that grew onto her from Spencer.

Aiden was sitting with the girl he talked to earlier, his arm draped over her shoulder as they sat up on the towel, also appreciating the colors produced from the sky.
