    Ash gets used to living at the Carlins – Drew finally makes it to LA – Glen’s life starts to unfray – Clay gets caught – Paula and Arthur start to connect when…………

     

                “Um, let’s see, six…ty… nine?” 

     

                Both girls began to laugh, “No, that’s a position, not an angle.  God, I haven’t been teaching you anything, have I?”  Ashley asked, tears spilling from her eyes from laughing so hard.

     

                “Nope, bad teacher.”

     

                “What are you two young ladies babbling about?”  Asked Arthur, he and Paula had left for a dinner ‘date’ earlier.  It was their first ‘outing’ as a couple in over three months.  Arthur was convinced that they were finally getting back to the place there were at before they’d moved to L.A.

     

                “Geometry,” replied Ashley.  Spencer giggling some more, her bare foot still pressed against Ashley’s leg.  The silky skin felt so good and warm, she just wanted to crawl under the table and have a second dessert. 

     

                “Who’s the one taking Geometry?”  Paula asked, depositing four pieces of Lemon Pie on the table.  Spencer sprung up, going to the kitchen for forks.

     

                “My fave…,” muttered Spencer as she left the room.  Ashley resisted the urge to watch her near perfect ass bouncing as she jogged to the kitchen.  She couldn’t help herself, one quick look, hoping the Carlin’s didn’t see the lust hiding in her dark eyes.

     

                “Me.  Glen is in my class too, but he went out earlier.  We have a huge test tomorrow, he’d better study, I hear it’s a doozy,” grunted Ashley, “I don’t believe I just said that.”

     

                “Went out?  Where?”  Arthur asked, and Ashley shrugged.

     

                “I’m not the ‘rents, I ask no questions and get no funny answers,” answered Ashley.  Taking the fork from Spencer, their fingertips brushing each other, and Spencer swallowed back the urge to lean over the table and kiss her. 

     

                “That’s odd…,” said Paula.

     

                “He’ll be ok,” offered Arthur.

     

                “I certainly hope so,” said Paula.

                “Where is she?”  Drew asked Ashley’s father, CeCe.  The bleach blonde man tried to close the door on Drew, but the young woman wasn’t allowing it.  She’d been held captive, literally, for days, and now she wanted to see Ashley.  She’d landed only an hour before, not even bothering to call Ashley, calling wasn’t good enough, seeing her, face to face, was the only way to make up not being there for her.

    6. This is obviously me speaking for myself, but the idea of Clay doing ANYTHING sexual is way more gross to me than any kind of parental passion. Awesome chapter.
