“You mean to tell me, Ashley and Spencer?”  Clay said in a stage whisper as they sat together in Glenn’s room.  Glenn was lying on his bed, leg propped up, having just taken something for the pain. 

            “You got it.”  Glenn grumbled.  The pain medication was making his head fuzzy. 

            “That’s…  weird.”

            “Weird?  Man, it’s just not right.”  Glenn stated hotly.  Why was this weighing down on him?  Why did it matter whom Spencer wanted to be with?  Because in his heart, Glenn knew it was against everything they’d been raised to believe in.

            “What do Mom and Dad have to say about it?”  Clay asked.

            “I don’t know, that’s why we’ve been banished upstairs, the inquisition is going on right now Bro.” 

            Clay got up from his spot, creeping the door open.  A serious look on Clay’s face as he inched towards the landing of the stairs, he had every intention of listening into the fireworks.

            Ashley and Aiden were in her room, meticulously transferring certain parts of the video tapes to Ashley’s computer.  It was slow work, much slower than Aiden had anticipated.

            “How much hard drive do you have?”  Aiden asked in awe as the computer whined softly as Ashley did her work.

            “More than enough handsome.”  Ashley stated, looking up at him and winking.  Aiden sat back, watching Ashley’s pretty face concentrate on what she was doing.

            “So you and Spence?”  Aiden asked softly.  Ashley blushed hotly.  Spencer had told her about the odd ‘date’ with Aiden, her realization that she needed to be with Ashley and not with Aiden.

            “Yeah…”  Ashley admitted.

            “You realize that’s kinna hot right?”  Aiden stated with a hot laugh.

            “You are such a guy.”  Ashley shot back.

            “Do you like…”  Aiden stopped.  Ashley looked at him, a still shot of him shooting a three pointer flickered on the screen.  “Love her?”

            “I don’t know…”  Ashley moved around uncomfortably.  Aiden watched her; she began to get nervous, rubbing her hands on her jeans.  “I think I do.”
