    Untitled – (Chapter: Chapter Sixteen)

Ashley almost slipped on the ice, however was still holding on to Spencer.  “Alright, we’re about to slip on the ice, babe,” Ashley warned.

“Sorry that holding on to me is causing you to lose your balance,” said Spencer in an apologetic tone.

“It’s cool,” Ashley replied as she rubbed her nose against Spencer’s.  It’s not really a big deal. I’ll break your fall then.  Spencer chuckled.

“They are going to fall,” pointed out Paula.  Glen, do something.

“I don’t have any skates though,” Glen said.  Paula gave Glen a look and Glen went on the ice skating rink, however slipped on the ice.  Spencer laughed as well as Ashley.

“You really like when people fall on ice, don’t you?” mused Ashley.

“Yeah,” Spencer responded.  So do you though.  I’ll get down.  You got saved.  Ashley helped Spencer get down. Spencer took Ashley’s hat from Ashley’s head and put it on her own head.

“Hey!” said Ashley.  I want my hat back, missy.  I get cold really easily.

“No time like the present to better your skating skills,” Spencer replied as she began to skate around.  They continued to skate around the ice skating rink.

“You see now that they’re fine,” Glen explained.  They are just joking around with one another.  Glen and Paula saw Ashley trying to get back her hat.  Ashley went behind Spencer and wrapped her arms around Spencer’s waist.

“So they are like a real couple,” noted Paula.

“Yeah,” Glen stated.  What did you think?  Sure, there are obvious differences like there are two girls in a relationship, but other than that they are happy and in love.

“I don’t know, but I thought it would be different from how a boy and girl date,” pointed out Paula.  Spencer really is happy with her, isn’t she?

“Yes, she is,” Glen responded simply.

    “I’m glad,” stated Paula.

“Today was fun besides the fact that I’m still learning how to maneuver my skates,” Ashley pointed out.  Ashley kissed Spencer on her cheek.

“If you’re interested, we could come out here another day and have more skating lessons,” responded Spencer.

“I’d like that,” Ashley smiled.  It’s a date, Spence.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” said Spencer with a smile.  Spencer turned to face Ashley.  Ashley kissed Spencer softly on her lips.  Spencer smiled and intensified the kiss.  Ashley stopped the kiss and they smiled at one another.
