    Ashley’s going back to the past.

                The Earth would have perished that day if not for the quick thinking actions of the scientists in charge of Project Gamma. They had known for quite some time that the sun was on its way out; that one day it would burn itself into darkness leaving the world in a blanket of obscurity and chaos. But no one had expected it to be that soon. The world’s top minds were ordered by the United World Power to fix this problem and fix it fast. With the time racing against them, the team led by world renowned professor Ashley Davies, worked on a plan to make sure the world stayed lit. Two weeks passed and the group had managed to create an artificial form of the sun. However, the scientists had no time to test it.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “According to my calculations we have less than two days to get this thing into orbit! Now I don’t know about you but I want to get a shuttle ready now! Money isn’t an issue here people. Death is the issue,” Ashley Davies said passionately as she addressed the council of UWP. Thirty world leaders sat before her scratching their heads and trying to contemplate what the brunette had put into simple terms.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “Miss Davies, the other scientists we had working on this project estimated that we still have several months until we lose the sun. Why should we believe you? After all, you’re a bit young to be running around claiming you know things for certain,” said a pompous voice with a snide European accent.

               

     

     

     

     

     

     

    “With all due respect, Representative Heston, just because your daughter is my age and can barely count to ten is no reason to discriminate against me because of my age. We are running out of time and the earth’s population cannot wait for you to delegate about this issue. We need to send the conflagration sphere up tonight. Tomorrow at the latest,” she said pounding her small fists on the podium. She was becoming increasingly agitated with these politicians.
