She rustled through the desk, her hand shoving writing utensils, and paper products to the side. She saw a few pictures of her brothers and even one of she and Ashley that lay underneath empty gum wrappers and sharpened pencil remnants. Spencer always used pencils; not just for math class, but when she wrote anything. She told Ash that she always feared making a mistake. At least with a pencil, if she fucked up she could erase it, and start over from the beginning.
Satisfied with the drawer, Ash shut it quietly and glanced on top of the desk, pushing around some schoolbooks and miscellaneous crap.
Within seconds, Ashley was tearing through Spencer’s dresser, shoving her shirts and jeans about, feeling blindly at the back of the drawers, frantically searching for something out of the ordinary, something that would explain what the fuck was happening to Spence.
She rammed the bottom drawer shut, not caring that she was making a ruckus, tears building at a rapid pace, her hands gripping the top drawer, her fingernails pressing painfully against the wood. She let her head fall towards the carpet, breathing through her nose, trying to gain control. She couldn’t afford to lose it now. God knows when she’d have another chance to be in Spencer’s house, free to roam, to hunt for the reason for Spencer’s pain. She dipped her hand into the pile of underwear, closing her eyes, allowing the different textures to flow through her fingers, imagining Spencer reaching into the drawer blindly, not caring which pair arose from the pile, stepping into them one leg at a time, her eyes focused blankly on the wall.
“Fuck!” Ash’s words echoed through her skull, her foot stamping onto the carpet, allowing the waves of frustration to flow over her body like caramel over a plump green apple.
The spell was broken, as Spencer mumbled something from behind her, causing Ash to slam the drawer shut and turn, only to see Spencer now lying on her back, the covers kicked off down to her feet, her arms laying straight above her head, her hands resting vertically against the headboard.
The room was cold. Or Ashley was cold. She couldn’t figure out which theory held more weight, so she headed straight to the source, and shut the window softly, not wanting Spencer to get cold despite how hot her face was earlier.

This is a great chapter, I think you should just get to the point already, we get it Spencer sick in the head now Ashley needs to help her. LOL update soon
Nice chapter. In a way I agree with Spashley4u….but I am enjoying the flashbacks as well (though I’m getting a little lost in the jumping back and forth). Anyways, hope you post more soon….I enjoy this story immensly and your detail and imagery help make this a great story. pms!!!
