    Bette could barely read the last few lines of Peggy’s cover letter as tears blurred her vision. The personal loss she’d suffered because of Tina’s past with Helena conjured up by their talks compounded by Peggy spelling out her professional ruin in black and white was just too much for her to handle. Bette had spent years in therapy with Emma just trying to work through the personal and professional defeat at the hands of Helena ‘fucking’ Peabody and here it was seven years later and it was still affecting her. Would the woman always have the ability to infiltrate her psyche by the mere mention of her name or the cruel acts that she perpetrated on Bette?

    When she got herself under control Bette gave more thought to Peggy’s offer and dialed the phone to connect with the woman that for many years had been like a mother to her. Their loving relationship was disparaged by the insanity of a groundless personal vendetta when Peggy’s daughter had perceived Bette as a threat to her legacy and took actions to prevent it. How senseless and shattering for them all only to lose it in the end. Bette had never told Peggy about Helena’s betrayal but it appeared that Peggy had uncovered everything that she’d hidden from her.

    Bette’s call to Peggy’s direct line was answered by her assistant Michael which meant she was either not in or on another call.

    “Good morning Bette it’s good to hear your voice. It’s been a while.”

    “Yes it has Michael. How are you?”

    “I’m very well thank you and yourself?”

    “I’m well. Is Peggy available?”

    “She is just finishing up a call. She will be with you momentarily. Would you mind if I place you on hold? It shouldn’t be more than a couple of minutes.”

      I feel so sad for Peggy having a daughter like that, but she did mess up as a mother too.
      But Helena, brrr…Don’t have words for her.

      Wonder what option Bette will choose, my guess is the 51% ownership in the gallery. That is her true passion. But she should tell Tina about the offer right away.

    3. BETTE needs to go see EMMA,bringing up old memories still has that type of effect on her needs to be talked out.THE choices before her could be the ultimate test for her and tina. Anything with gallery in it spells drama so spice it up with jodi/leigh.BUT let them have a romantic weekend before you pull the rug out from under them.pps

    5. Wow! I’m so touched that this post was in my honor! Thanks it was greatly appreciated! I got sick on the stomach at the stress test. I think it was from being not able to eat or drink anything for 8 hours before the test. That medicine they shot in the IV did it I’m sure. I have a very unusual stomach! Half way threw the test they let you eat a snack then you take the last part of the test. I made it home and took a nap! Then to wake up to this wonderful post! Thanks again and PPS!

    6. Yes Im goin with Bibi28 with the 51% ownership and the option to buy down the road. I also think if Leigh and Bette can bury the hatchet so can Helena eventually. Now Bette doesnt have to worry about where she can display all those up and coming artists. Now Bette has to share the news with Tina….
