    A little family time and Bette have a little talk with Julia

    Chapter 173

     

    An hour later, Tina walks into the bedroom to wakes up Bette. Noah is still in her arms, also sleeping.

    She kneels beside Bette and softly tucks away strands of hair.

    “Babe.” Tina softly says.

    “Hmmm.” Bette replies and stretches her arms above her head. She slowly opens her eyes. “Morning.” Bette says. This makes Tina let out a small chuckle.

    “It’s still afternoon babe. Dinner is ready.” Tina says and smiles.

    “Oh” Bette let out a small chuckle too. She then looks down on Noah, who is also starting to wake up. Tina stands up and lifts Noah up.

    “Hey there, did you sleep good?” She asks him.

    He just nods as he rubs his eyes.

    “Babe, you should probably go in and wake up Danny. He’s been in his crib since the incident earlier.” Tina says and smiles.

    “Yeah.” Bette replies.

    “I’ll go and set the table.” Tina says and walks out with Noah in her arms.

    Bette gets out of bed, she walks into the bathroom to splash a little water in her face and then she goes to wake up Danny. She stands over his crib and softly strokes his stomach. He slowly wakes up.

    “Hey, there little guy.” Bette says and lifts him up. “So, have you learned your lesson?” Bette asks.

    He nods his head and leans his head down on Bette’s shoulder. He rubs his eyes.

    “You can’t be mean to your brother. You have to share your things. Do you understand me?” Bette asks him.

    “Yes.” Danny replies.

    She walks into the kitchen with him.

    “Okay, can you say you’re sorry to your brother. Give him a hug?” Bette says.

    “Ok.” He says.

    Bette lowers him down to Noah, who is seated in his high chair. Danny give Noah a hug and a kiss on his cheek. Tina and Bette smiles at this affection between their sons. Bette then placed Danny down in his high chair. Tina took out two small boxes with yoghurt and a small spoon.

    “Here you go.” Tina says and set down the yoghurt in front of the boys.

    She then takes the casserole with the chicken wok over to the table.

    “It smells wonderful baby.” Bette says and smiles.

    1. I can see why Julia would feel hurt. I had sort of wondered about that after reading earlier that Bette was pregnant. It’s a good thing Bette picked up on it so there won’t be anymore tension.

    3. I am glad that Bette understood that there was something bothering Julia. I can understand that Julia would feel knowing that her mother was having a wanted child when she gave her away. Now since that issue seems to be worked out, what about Julia’s father? Nothing has been mentioned about him.

    9. Julies has a right to be or feel rejected.She had a good life.and good parents but. what would she have had with Porter . At 17 not much. now she can have Porter and a new family plus a lot of brothers and sister. Thanks
