    A little family time and Bette have a little talk with Julia

    “Aunt Jess.” He says and lifts his arms. Jessie lifts him up and kisses his cheek.

    “Hey, Jessie, is Julia with you?” Bette asks, still laying down on the couch.

    “Yeah, she’s out in the car. Why?” Jessie asks.

    “I need to talk to her. Could you maybe get her to come in for a few minutes?” Bette asks.

    “Sure. Hold on.” Jessie says, she sets Danny down and walks outside. A minute later she walks back in with Julia close behind.

    “Hi.” Julia says and smiles at Bette.

    “Hi.” Bette replies.

    Jessie walks into the kitchen after seeing Tina wave her in. She lifts up Danny again and takes him with her.

    “I want to talk to you about something.” Bette says to Julia.

    “Okay.” Julia replies. She takes a seat in the chair opposite the couch.

    Noah, has fallen asleep again, he’s sucking his thumb, snuggling close to Bette’s chest. Julia looks down on him, with a hint of sadness.

    “So, what do you want to talk about?” Julia asks.

    “You.” Bette replies.

    “Me? Why?” Julia asks.

    “For the past couple of months, you’ve been acting differently around me. I don’t like it. Have I done something?” Bette asks calmly.

    Julia looks down at her hands.

    “No I mean yes Kind of.” Julia says.

    Bette can see that her face is starting to tear up.

    “Julia, please tell me.” Bette asks in a concerned voice.

    Julia looks again down at Noah, sleeping in Bette’s arms.

    “I’m looking at Noah He’s lucky to have you as his mother. Then your new baby, will also be lucky” Julia says and wipes a tear.

    Bette suddenly realizes why Julia has been acting differently.

    But she’ll let Julia talk it out.

    “I suddenly felt rejected for the first time in my life, when you and Tina told me that you were pregnant. You gave me away, you gave your child away, and here you are having another one. And this one will not be given away, because this one is wanted and planned.” Julia says and starts to cry.

    Bette sit up slowly, as not to wake Noah.

    “Tina?” Bette calls out softly.

    Tina walks in.

    “Yeah?” She replies.

    “Could you take Noah?” Bette asks.

    1. I can see why Julia would feel hurt. I had sort of wondered about that after reading earlier that Bette was pregnant. It’s a good thing Bette picked up on it so there won’t be anymore tension.

    3. I am glad that Bette understood that there was something bothering Julia. I can understand that Julia would feel knowing that her mother was having a wanted child when she gave her away. Now since that issue seems to be worked out, what about Julia’s father? Nothing has been mentioned about him.

    5. hey lauren… long time without commenting…sorry, i just caught up the story and I liked the way it turned out… good job… and about the name i love some andrea so i liked the choice…. and I agree with you pandora, she’s sooooooooooooooo fucking beatiful, sexy, good people, clever… and I’m serious… she’s almost perfect but just a bit stubborn… so I think the name is perfect for a Bette and Tina’s daughter…thanks

    9. Julies has a right to be or feel rejected.She had a good life.and good parents but. what would she have had with Porter . At 17 not much. now she can have Porter and a new family plus a lot of brothers and sister. Thanks
