“Sure.” Tina replies and lifts him up carefully and carries him into his bedroom.

Bette gets up and kneels in front of Julia.

“Sweetie.” She says and place her hands on Julia’s thighs. “You were wanted. I just wasn’t able to care for you. My mother didn’t want to help me. The father disappeared before I could tell him. I wish I could turn back time and do it all over again, do it right. I just was too young. I’m going to spend the rest of my life, trying to earn the right to be your mother again. I just hope you’ll let me.” Bette almost pleads.

“I’ll let you Can I call you mom?” Julia asks after a few moments.

“I’d be honoured. But I didn’t think you wanted to, considering you already had a mother and a father.” Bette says.

“I loved my parents. And I miss them terribly. I wish they were here with me. But they aren’t. They’ve been gone now for 7 years. I decide who I want to call mom.” Julia says and looks at Bette.

Bette smiles as a single tear roll down her cheek.

“I wont let you down again I promise.” Bette says and continues to wipe away the tears. Julia again leans in for a hug. Bette stands up and holds out her arm to Julia.

“Do you have a suggestions for a name? What should your little sisters name be?” Bette asks.

“You want me to help with the name?” Julia asks.

“Yes.” Bette replies.

“What about Tina?” Julia asks.

“I’m asking you. I want you to help me out. Tina wont mind, I’m sure of it.” Bette replies.

“Are you sure?” Julia asks.

“Sweetie Do you have a suggestion or not?” Bette asks giving her a little smile and squeeze her hand a little.

“Yeah, I have one, that I really like.” Julia says.

“Okay, what is it?” Bette asks.

“Andrea.” Julia says and smiles. “I think it’s a beautiful name.

“Andrea Andrea Kennard Porter Yeah, I like it. I’ll run it by Tina. I’m sure she’ll love it too.” Bette says and smiles.

They walk hand in hand into the kitchen, where Tina and Jessie are having a light conversation.

“Hey.” Tina says and looks up and smiles.

“Hey.” Bette replies and takes a seat next to her wife. Tina instinctively puts her hand on Bette’s stomach and starts to softly rubs it.

“Are you ready to go?” Julia asks Jessie.

“Yes, are you?” Jessie asks back.

“Yeah.” Julia replies and smiles over at Bette.

Everybody stands up and walks over to the door.

“Why don’t you two come over for dinner on Friday?” Tina asks.

Jessie looks at Julia with a questionable look.

“Jules, want to?” Jessie asks.

“Yeah. I want to.” Julia replies.

“Okay, we’ll be here.” Jessie  says and gives both Tina and Bette a hug.

Jessie opens the door and steps out. Julia gives Bette another hug. They give each other a loving look and Julia and Jessie leaves. Tina closes the door.

“Sooo, how did it go?” Tina asks as she slides her arms around Bette’s expanding waist.
“Good. She was just a little upset about my pregnancy.” Bette says and smiles.

“Why?” Tina asks a little concerned.

“She was a little angry. Tee, I gave her away you know. And here I am, having another one. She just felt rejected. But it’s good now. And I asked her to suggest a name.” Bette says with a smile.

“Yeah? Can I hear it?” Tina asks also smiling.

“Andrea. I like it. I really like it.” Bette says.

“Andrea Kennard Porter. Yeah, it has a nice ring to it.” Tina replies. “I like it too.” She adds.
