“I’m sure it was only a passing bug. Is he still hurting?” Bette asks.

“I think so. He was at the doctor’s office.” Tina says.

“Noah? Come here for a second.” Bette calls out. He comes over. “Is your stomach still hurting?” She asks.

“A little.” He replies.

“Okay.” Bette says and kneels down and kisses his chin. “I heard you were very brave with the doctor today.” She says.

He nods and looks up at a smiling Tina.

“Yes, he was.” Tina says.

Later that evening, Jessie and Julia arrives with the pizza.

“Hey, guys, dinner’s here.” Jessie calls out.

“Hey.” Bette days and walks up to them with Andrea in her arms. She’s ready for bed, one more feeding and then it’s bedtime.

“Oh, can I hold her.” Julia asks.

“Sure.” Bette replies and hand Andrea over.

“She’s so cute and tiny… Yes you are… and beautiful.” Julia says and smiles. Andrea grabs a hold of Julia’s index finger.

Jessie smiles at the sight. She brings the pizza into the kitchen where Tina is with the boys.

“Hey Tina, hey boys. High five.” Jessie says and high five’s with the boys. Tina smiles. She set the pizza down on the table then she takes a seat.

“How are you?” Tina asks.

“I’m great, we’re great. I’m graduating you know, in two weeks. I really want you and Bette there.” Jessie says. Tina walks over and takes a seat next to Jessie.

“Off course, we’ll be there. We wouldn’t miss it for anything. What about Julia, isn’t she graduating too?” Tina asks.

“No… She’s been struggling this last semester in her business class. The math part of it. She’s been working hard, I’ve tried to help her and others have tried, but it didn’t work. She’s failing and wont be graduating. She’s taking it over again next semester. Please don’t tell Bette. She wanted to tell her herself.” Jessie says.

“Sure, I wont tell her.” Tina says.

“There’s one other thing too.” Jessie says.

“What?” Tina asks.

“I made Valedictorian.” Jessie says.

“You… Oh my God, Jess, that’s great… I’m so proud of you.” Tina says, still a little shocked but in a positive way. She pulls Jessie into a hug. “What did Stephanie say?” Tina asks.
