The next morning Bette and Tina are woken up by Danny and Noah running into their bedroom.
“Mama, mommy wake up.” They both scream as they jump into the bed.
“Oh for the love of God, guys take it easy on your mommies. We’re old.” Bette says as she opens her eyes. Tina turns and snuggles into Bette.
“I don’t want to get up yet.” Tina says.
“Oh come on mommy. The sun is shining. Can we go to the park?” Danny says.
Noah moves in between his mommies and lays down.
“Hey sweetie, still tired?” Bette asks.
“No.” Noah replies.
Tina gives him a hug.
“Okay, come on babe, seems like our day just started.” Tina says and leans over and kisses Bette.
“I don’t want to.” Bette whines. She takes a good hold on Tina and pulls her closer.
“Mama, mommy, I’m hungry.” Danny says.
“Babe, we should get up.” Tina says.
“Okay.” Bette says and kisses Tina once more before she gets out of bed.
Tina follows closely. Tina put on her robes and walks into the kitchen to make breakfast. Bette walks into Andrea’s room and sees that she’s awake.
“Hey there Angel, good morning to you.” Bette says and lifts her up and kisses her cheek. “It’s so good to be able to see you again.” Bette says softly and holds her close.
Tina walks down the hall towards the bedroom to get dressed and hears Bette talking to Andrea. “I don’t know what I would’ve done, if I wasn’t able to see your beautiful, cute little face again. “I love you.” Bette whispers and kisses Andrea on the cheek.
Tina rounds the doorframe and smiles. She walks up to them and leans in for a kiss. The look between them says more than words. They walk out and into the kitchen where the boys are seated at the table.
“Come on mommies, we’re hungry.” The boys says.
“Hold on boys, you’re not going to starve, take it easy.” Tina says and put the food on the table. Only cereals and bread today. She gets the milk from the fridge and places it on the table. “Here you go. Careful with the milk, okay?” She says.
Danny is concentrating hard not to spill any milk, and he makes it. Not a drop spilled.
