“Look mommy, I did it.” He says and beams with pride.
“That’s good Danny.” Tina replies and ruffles his hair.
Bette put Andrea into her highchair and takes a seat beside her. Tina joins her after getting more cereal and milk, and coffee.
“Have you thought more about that career change?” Tina asks, pouring milk in her bowl.
“Yeah, I have.” Bette replies, taking the milk after Tina.
“What have you come up with?” Tina asks, taking her first spoon
“A few things I guess.” Bette replies and smiles. “Photography, I guess after this sight thing, I’ve started to look at things differently, seeing things differently, and just these few days since I got my sight back, I’ve started to see beauty in stuff I found ugly before.” Bette says and looks philosophical as she smiles at Tina. Tina is looking at her with a warm smile. “It’s not because you’re a photographer, all though I can understand why you are now I guess.” Bette says and smiles.
“You are amazing.” Tina says softly as she softly touches Bette’s hand. “What are the other things?” She asks.
“Graphic design or art of some sort.” Bette replies.
“You should look into it, do some research about it. Maybe get Julia to help you with the graphic design part, since she is one.” Tina says with a smile. “And off course, I’ll help you with the photography research.” Tina adds.
“Thank you.” Bette replies and leans over and kisses Tina softly on the lips. Which brings on the boys and their sound fx’s and laughter.
“Yeah, yeah, cut it out guys.” Bette says and smiles over at them. Same does Tina.
”So, what do you want to do today, it’s Saturday, we should do something.” Tina asks.
“I was hoping to maybe get over to the club for a few hours today. Just sort of check in. but if you have any plans that involve me, then I can wait.” Bette says and looks at Tina.
“No, I didn’t have any plans yet, you can go. I guess we can hang out here for a few hours, they can keep them selves busy here.” Tina says and stands up, taking the plates and putting them into the dishwasher.
