Chapter 92
The next day, Bette is ready to come home. Tina stayed at home to make dinner while Jessie went to pick up Bette.
An hour later they walk through the door.
Tina grabs her crutches and walk as quickly as she can over to Bette, who is now also on crutches.
She let out a little laugh.
“What?” Bette asks.
“Look at us.” Tina says and motion with her crutches.
“Oh Yeah. We fit perfectly.” Bette says and put the sticks down and pulls Tina closer. “I missed you last night.” Bette says and gives Tina a tight hug.
“I missed you too.” Tina replies and leans in for a kiss. “I’ve made dinner, your favorite, lasagna.” Tina says.
“You did?” Bette asks and smiles.
“Yeah, so let’s eat.” Tina says.
“Guys, could I borrow the car tonight?” Jessie asks.
“Where are you going?” Tina asks. “Don’t you want to stay for dinner?” She adds.
“Lasagna is good, but I think I’ll leave you two alone. You deserve it.” Jessie asks.
“Okay.” Bette replies. “But drive carefully.” Bette says.
“I will. Thank you. I’ll drive over to Stephanie and help her pack up the house.” Jessie says.
“Okay, could you tell her that I’ll call her tomorrow?” Bette asks.
“Yes, sure.” Jessie replies and walks out to the car and drive off.
Bette and Tina took a seat at the table. They enjoyed the lasagna together.
“So, are you still up for a Christmas wedding?” Bette suddenly asks.
It took Tina a little by surprise.
“Yeah. it’s in just two months.” Tina replies.
“Yes, I know. Have you given any thought as to how you want it?” Bette asks as she put her hand on top of Tina’s.
“I have given it some thoughts. I don’t want a big ceremony. I know that much. Just friends and family. Maybe at the beach house?” Tina suggested.
Bette smiled.
“That is a wonderful idea.” Bette agrees,
“Yeah?” Tina asks as she has to be completely sure.
“Absolutely, I love the idea. And we have a bed for everyone.” Bette replies.
“A bed for everyone? Don’t you want to spend the wedding night to be just us?” Tina asks.
“Off course I will, that’s why we’ll leave on our honeymoon, that very same night.” Bette says with a smile on her face.

you know i can sugest the perfect place to honeymoon..Brazil..lol..im serious..anyway..Bette is one in a million cuz im a little disappointed too about Tina not want start a family that day on the BBQ she seems so ready and happy then why she changed her mind now but Bette underestood and that was that really matters..im glad they found time to enjoy each other..a commitment relationship have to be found in comunication..respect..love and they have all..great chapter Lauren..i hope you feel better to write soon thanks for the update :o)
Tina seems a little unhappy Why cant Bette have a baby? She has the same equipment that Tina has. thanks
oh yeah why Tina changed her mind?, she was so happy with that thought and yes she seems sad theres something bothering her? couse i cant think in a lovely kind and great person to want to have a family with better than Bette, i hope after the wedding she think better and change her mind about it, another great chapter L post another soon thanks
Lauren…thanks for the sweet update. Bette is a little disappointed but she understands why Tina doesn’t feel ready. I think it’s great how they can talk to one another about their fears and dreams. They have a wonderful relationship. It’s cute and funny that they are both using crutches…just funny. Looking forward to them planning their Christmas wedding. Thanks again for the update.

Yes, why can’t Bette have a baby? I would love to see how they handle that. Why doesn’t Tina want a family right now? If yes just doesn’t want to carry a baby now then Bette could or is it something else that is bothering Tina?

Great catching up with the story. Been away, for a bit. It’s good to see that the ladies are getting physically healthier, and that their relationship continues to strengthen. It’s quite understandable why Tina isn’t ready to get pregnant. Her body has just been through some traumatic stuff, with the accident, and temporary paralysis. I’m sure once she’s 100% strong, she’ll feel ready to get pregnant. Pregnancy takes a lot out of a woman’s body. It’s best that she wait, and be physically, emotionally, and mentally prepared for the 9 month toll that will be imposed on her body. So, happy that Bette understands this as well. Heck, she’s got to understand. You didn’t see her jump to volunteer her body to carry their child. But, it’s just meant to be this way, where Tina is the biological mom, at least, for the first one! (Smile)
