    A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 92

They finish dinner. Tina walks into the kitchen and makes some coffee

“Baby, just go in and sit down on the couch. I’ll be right there with the coffee.” Tina shouts from the kitchen.

“You don’t need any help?” Bette asks.

    “No, I’m good.” Tina replies.

Bette walks into the living room and takes a seat on the couch.

Minutes later Tina comes walking in with one cup of coffee. She only uses one stick to lean on.

“Here you go.” Tina says and gives Bette the cup. She then walks back to the kitchen and get her own cup.

She takes a seat next to Bette on the right side. She pulls Bette down on her lap.

“It was a great dinner.” Bette says and smiles up at Tina.

    “Thank you, babe.” Tina replies.

“You’re welcome, so how do you like our new house so far?” Bette asks.

“I love it. I want to grow old here.” Tina says. “With you.” Tina adds and leans down and kisses Bette softly on her lips.

“That is what I dream of every night.” Bette replies.

Tina smiles down at Bette as she runs her fingers through Bette’s thick hair.

“Have you ever thought back to how we met almost a year ago?” Tina asks softly. “Oh yeah. Everyday I thank my lucky star that I joined Dana that day for lunch. You took my breath away.” Bette says and smiles up at Tina and takes her hand in hers.

    “I did?” Tina asks shyly.

“Oh yes, but I didn’t show it. I was scared.” Bette reveals.

    “Scared?” Tina asks.

“Yeah, I was scared to death, and it took a long talk with Dana, before I dared to come up to you at your table that day at the Planet.” Bette says and squeezes Tina’s hand. Tina smiles down at Bette.

“I’m glad you had that talk with Dana. I fell in love with you that night at dinner.

I told you about when I saw you play golf on TV right?” Tina says.

    “Yeah.” Bette replies.

“Yeah, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. You were the most beautiful person I had ever seen. And the next day, when I had the photo shoot with Dana, I saw you on the top of the stands. I almost dropped my camera.” Tina reveals.

“Wow, I didn’t notice you then. But when you came in and Dana called after you, that was when I saw you for the first time.” Bette says.

“Yeah, I was glad you came up to my table.” Tina says.

“Me too, I never dreamt of becoming this lucky.” Bette says.

Tina leans down and kisses Bette one more time. A single tear escape her eye.

“Baby, why are you crying?” Bette asks as she pushes herself up in a sitting position and turns around facing Tina.

“Nothing is wrong, I’m just so happy. You’ve made me so happy.” Tina says as she wipes away the tear.

Bette put her arms around Tina and pulls her into a hug. “I love you.” Tina says. “I’m sorry, I’m so emotional” Tina says.

“Shh, don’t be, that’s one of the reasons I love you.” Bette replies and kisses her softly on the lips. “Come on, it’s late, let’s get to bed.” Bette says and stands up slowly, with the help of her crutch. She pulls Tina up after her and Tina grabs her crutches and the walk into the bathroom and brushes their teeth and then they’re ready for bed.

They crawl in close to each other, holding each other tightly.

“Sweet dreams baby.” Bette whispers in Tina’s ear.

“You too babe, love you.” Tina says, and they both fell asleep a few moments later.

    1. you know i can sugest the perfect place to honeymoon..Brazil..lol..im serious..anyway..Bette is one in a million cuz im a little disappointed too about Tina not want start a family that day on the BBQ she seems so ready and happy then why she changed her mind now but Bette underestood and that was that really matters..im glad they found time to enjoy each other..a commitment relationship have to be found in comunication..respect..love and they have all..great chapter Lauren..i hope you feel better to write soon thanks for the update :o)

    2. oh yeah why Tina changed her mind?, she was so happy with that thought and yes she seems sad theres something bothering her? couse i cant think in a lovely kind and great person to want to have a family with better than Bette, i hope after the wedding she think better and change her mind about it, another great chapter L post another soon thanks

    3. Lauren…thanks for the sweet update. Bette is a little disappointed but she understands why Tina doesn’t feel ready. I think it’s great how they can talk to one another about their fears and dreams. They have a wonderful relationship. It’s cute and funny that they are both using crutches…just funny. Looking forward to them planning their Christmas wedding. Thanks again for the update.

    4. Yes, why can’t Bette have a baby? I would love to see how they handle that. Why doesn’t Tina want a family right now? If yes just doesn’t want to carry a baby now then Bette could or is it something else that is bothering Tina?

    5. Great catching up with the story. Been away, for a bit. It’s good to see that the ladies are getting physically healthier, and that their relationship continues to strengthen. It’s quite understandable why Tina isn’t ready to get pregnant. Her body has just been through some traumatic stuff, with the accident, and temporary paralysis. I’m sure once she’s 100% strong, she’ll feel ready to get pregnant. Pregnancy takes a lot out of a woman’s body. It’s best that she wait, and be physically, emotionally, and mentally prepared for the 9 month toll that will be imposed on her body. So, happy that Bette understands this as well. Heck, she’s got to understand. You didn’t see her jump to volunteer her body to carry their child. But, it’s just meant to be this way, where Tina is the biological mom, at least, for the first one! (Smile)
