“Where are you planning on taking me?” Tina asks curiously.
“I don’t know yet. Where have you always dreamed of going?” Bette asks.
Tina takes a few moments to think.
“Well, it’s a few places actually. On is
Okay, I’ll take them into consideration.” Bette says and leans over and kisses Tina softly on her lips. “So do you want a judge doing the ceremony or?” Bette asks.
“Actually I have a friend who is a judge. I’ll ask him. I’m sure he wants to do it.” Tina replies.
“Okay, good.” Bette says.
Tina turns away and starts biting her lip a little.
Bette sees this.
“Baby, is something wrong?” She asks.
“No, no nothing’s wrong.” Tina replies and keep biting her lower lip.
“Baby, you are biting your lip, you only do that when you’re nervous. So please tell me what’s going on.” Bette says.
Tina looks at Bette for a few moments.
“Baby, please.” Bette says.
“I’m not ready to start our family yet” Tina says.
Bette gets a confused look on her face.
“Not ready? You mean you’re not ready to get married or?” Bette asks.
“No, no, I’m sooo ready to be your wife, I can’t wait. What I’m saying is that I’m not ready to have a baby yet” Tina says and holds her breath.
Bette looks a little disappointed at first, but then smiles.
“I’m sorry, I know you want kids now, but I don’t feel ready yet.” Tina adds.
“Baby, if you’re not ready, we’ll wait.” Bette replies.
“I see that you’re disappointed.” Tina says.
“I really do want kids, but I want them with you, and if you’re not ready, then we’ll wait.” Bette says and takes Tina’s hand up to her face and kisses it softly.
“I’m sorry.” Tina says.
“Baby, please don’t be sorry. I understand. We’ll take our time. We have the rest of our life, so no rush okay?” Bette says and smiles and squeezes Tina’s hand a little.
“I love you.” Tina says and smiles back.
“I love me too.” Bette says and grins. Tina playfully hit Bette’s arms.
“Bette!” She says.
“Sorry” She says and let out a little laugh. “I love you too, so very much.” Bette says in a more serious tone.

you know i can sugest the perfect place to honeymoon..Brazil..lol..im serious..anyway..Bette is one in a million cuz im a little disappointed too about Tina not want start a family that day on the BBQ she seems so ready and happy then why she changed her mind now but Bette underestood and that was that really matters..im glad they found time to enjoy each other..a commitment relationship have to be found in comunication..respect..love and they have all..great chapter Lauren..i hope you feel better to write soon thanks for the update :o)

oh yeah why Tina changed her mind?, she was so happy with that thought and yes she seems sad theres something bothering her? couse i cant think in a lovely kind and great person to want to have a family with better than Bette, i hope after the wedding she think better and change her mind about it, another great chapter L post another soon thanks
Lauren…thanks for the sweet update. Bette is a little disappointed but she understands why Tina doesn’t feel ready. I think it’s great how they can talk to one another about their fears and dreams. They have a wonderful relationship. It’s cute and funny that they are both using crutches…just funny. Looking forward to them planning their Christmas wedding. Thanks again for the update.

Yes, why can’t Bette have a baby? I would love to see how they handle that. Why doesn’t Tina want a family right now? If yes just doesn’t want to carry a baby now then Bette could or is it something else that is bothering Tina?

Great catching up with the story. Been away, for a bit. It’s good to see that the ladies are getting physically healthier, and that their relationship continues to strengthen. It’s quite understandable why Tina isn’t ready to get pregnant. Her body has just been through some traumatic stuff, with the accident, and temporary paralysis. I’m sure once she’s 100% strong, she’ll feel ready to get pregnant. Pregnancy takes a lot out of a woman’s body. It’s best that she wait, and be physically, emotionally, and mentally prepared for the 9 month toll that will be imposed on her body. So, happy that Bette understands this as well. Heck, she’s got to understand. You didn’t see her jump to volunteer her body to carry their child. But, it’s just meant to be this way, where Tina is the biological mom, at least, for the first one! (Smile)
