    Bette blinked, Rob told me about the sleeping together part.

    Clara walked closer to the bed, He did?

    He had thought you had told me and wanted to apologize. He said that he didnt regret what he did because he loves you very much but knew that you should have waited a number of years. I respected him for coming to me.

    Clara flinched slightly, I was going to tell you mom. I just didnt know how.

    I understand, Bette remarked evenly cocking her head to the side, I had much this same conversation with my mother.

    Clara was inching toward the bed, I know you didnt want me to follow in your footsteps.

    Not with this.

    How did you figure out that Im pregnant?

    I know you.

    Clara flinched again at this again, Im sorry.

    I realize that. I know Im not always the easiest person to talk but I didnt think youd hide something of this magnitude from me.

    Clara sat on the end of her mothers bed, Im sorry mom, she spoke as tears started to come, I was so scared of how youd react. I know you always said that you never wanted me to follow in what you and dad did.

    Bette held out her arms and Clara crawled up the bed and lay in those arms that had often comforted her, Im not angry with you Clara, disappointed yes, but not angry. I could never be angry with you over this.

    What are we going to do mommy, Clara whispered hugging her mother tightly

    Does Rob know about the baby?

    Bette felt her daughter shake her head in the negative against her chest.

    I take it you want to keep the baby?

    A nod.

    You love Rob?

    Another nod.

    Bette sighed softly, We are going to have to talk with Rob and Melina. I know that before we left Melina was telling me that she was thinking of bringing her sons out here.

    Clara lifted her tear stained face to look at her mother, She was?

    She was, Bette agreed, She knew that Rob was going to be heartbroken over losing you and didnt want him to face what the went through or what I went through in losing the man that you loved.

    1. I’m glad Tina had the urge to do that. I’d have thought she’d have done that while at her house, but maybe she didn’t want to freak out Bette. Then again, kissing her in public is possibly more chance for a freak-out. Still, I’m glad she did that.

    15. 16 & PREGNANT?!!…Wasn’t expecting that…Well, I can’t really say I’m that surprised, my best friend’s mother had her older sister when she was only 15 I think…she ended up having 6 children, my best friend included…Bette is one awesome mama=D…wow, Tina’s going in for the kill; P Wonderful chapter Reba, please update soon=D
