A Forever Kind of Love- Chapter 13
“T, you do have your family and I am going to do everything that I can to make sure that you won’t, no that we won’t ever lose that again.”
They stayed lying just like that until Angelica woke up a half hour later. Bette didn’t want to move out of Tina’s arms but when Angie turned her face up towards her smiling and said, “Good mornin Mamas” and giggled she knew it was time to start the day. So they did, they had breakfast together out by the pool and just enjoyed their time together as a family.
Hours later Tina walked up to then sat next to Bette on the couch who was sitting there quietly watching Angie who had fallen asleep while playing on the floor. “Bette, I have to get going, I have a lot to do before work tomorrow.”
“Ok T, let me just walk you to your car then.”
“Let me just kiss Angie first and I’ll grab my things.” Tina walked over to and leaned down to kiss Angie on her head, brushing a loose strand of hair from her forehead. Then she whispered into her ear, “I love you Angie; I am going to do my very best to get you back your family.”
The next morning Bette and Tina woke up at the houses on opposite side of the city, both feeling like they were missing something.
Bette rolled over in bed looking at the placed that just a few nights ago had Tina lying in it and thought just how perfect it was to have Tina in her rightful place in their bed. Which is how she always has felt about the other half of this bed, it is Tina’s and Tina’s alone. Even when things were the most acrimonious with Tina and things were good with Jodi and although they never technically had a specific side of the bed she had never seen the other half of the bed as anything other than as Tina’s.
Meanwhile at Tina’s apartment she opened her eyes to, for the first time in the last three mornings to find herself alone. Sitting up “I do not like this, not one bit. I miss her already, at least she has Angie and I’m here alone.”

Great one. Waiting now for the conversation to determine when Tina will move back in to the house and they don’t have to miss each other like crazy when they are apart. thanks for posting.
Just starting, must go back and read previous chapters of this delightful story
So good, they are moving forward.
I just reread this lovely story. I love it. You’ve dealt with alot of issues while still pointing to the future. I can’t wait for more!
