Carmen-“I am starving and since neither of our women are here would you like to go out and grab a bite before we have to go set up at Hit?”

Max-“That sounds like a great idea.”

Carmen grabs her keys and starts to load all of her equipment into Max’s truck. They quickly finish and head out for food.

At Hit Helena and Kit are busy getting everything is working order for the big not ahead. Helena’s phone starts to ring and she steps out to take the call.

Helena-“Hello?”

There is a long pause before she answers the person on the other line. “Are you sure? I fully support you if you are absolutely sure. Okay I will see you then.”

Kit-“And who was that?”

Helena-“oh nothing Just some stuff for our upcoming night of drag.”

Kit-“Oh, well then.”

They both quickly get back to work. Once everything is finished they both go get cleaned up and before they know it Carmen is there with Max setting up everything and the doors open.  People fill in and all sway to the beat Carmen is throwing down. It is already eleven and no one has seen Shane or Jenny all night.

Bette gets up from the bar and walks over to Alice who is glued to her phone.

Bette-“Have you seen or heard from Shane?”

Alice-“No I texted and called but there was no answer.”

Bette-“Shit, that normally isn’t a good thing with her.”

Alice-“She is with Jenny though right?”

Bette-“Yeah, that is why I am concerned.”

Alice-“I doubt Shane would be stupid enough to…”

Back at Shane and Jenny’s place. Shane and jenny come strolling into the house.

Shane-“Okay how do you want to do this?”

Jenny-“I am not sure. How can we get the word around the fastest?”

Both answer in unison “Alice!”

Shane picks up her phone and sees the missed call and texts. ‘sorry Alice didn’t have my phone on me. I am on my way to the club. I rented out a camp site in the mountains for the weekend. See if the gang is interested in going after we go to Carmen’s mother’s for dinner.’

They both head out the door and walk in as Carmen is coming off for her second break of the night. Shane walks over to the bar and gets Carmen a beer and one for herself. She walks over to Carmen and can see it written all over her face that she wasn’t okay with how late she got there with no explanation.
