Shane-“I am sorry baby, we were out looking for places to go camping and it took longer than I expected.”

Carmen-“I am supposed to believe that?”

Shane-“I have pictures to see if you would like to go, but if you don’t want to we don’t have to.”

Carmen sighs. She thinks to herself ‘just fall, let her catch you.’

Carmen-“Sure.”

Shane shows her the pictures and is anxious to see if Carmen will like the location she found today.

Carmen is taken aback at how beautiful the landscape is.

Carmen-“Where is this at?”

Shane-“About an hour from here.”

Carmen-“When are we going?”

Shane-“Tomorrow after the family dinner with your mother. I figured we could get the gang together and just go have some fun near the beach. Nothing like camping in the mountains with the beach on your doorstep.”

Carmen-“It sounds like a great idea baby. I have to get back to work and then we can get home.”

The gang gets together and all start to dance. Next thing they know Shane and Dana of all people get into a contest of who can do a vodka bomb the quickest and both get trashed off their asses. The night ends quickly and everyone calls a cab home.

Everyone is finally home and Shane climbs into bed with a very tired Carmen.

Shane-“I, I am sorrrrry I came late.”

Carmen just laughed. She didn’t normally see Shane like this.

Carmen-“It is okay babe try to get some sleep we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.”

There is no response. Carmen looks over to find that Shane has passed out and she cant help but laugh. She rolls over and goes to sleep herself.

The next day they both are abruptly woken up by a Alice swinging their door open and jumping onto their bed.

Alice-“Come on guys! Everyone is here and ready to go. We need to be at Carmen’s mom’s house is forty five minutes.”

 This statement gets both of them out of bed like a bullet went off and they dart for the bathroom.

The group cant contain themselves.

Max-“Well I guess they expected to have more time to get ready.”

Shane and Carmen rush through the shower, get dressed and are out the door in under twenty minutes. Everyone files into the cars and heat to Mercedes house for a dinner that they are sure is to die for.
