Tina looks at Monique and then back to the gate with pain in her eyes.
“She walked through the gate without saying anything.” Tina replies to Monique’s question.
“A…After I had finished talking, she gazed at me, not saying anything, just looked. And all of a sudden she stood up and walked quickly to the gate.” Tina continued softly with a tremble in her voice. Monique frowns and looks from the gate to Tina, then she starts walking to the gate almost running. Tina is still not moving, but as soon as she sees Monique walking through the gate, she sinks in her seat and stares at the wall in front of her, wondering which part of her words made Bette run.
Monique has reached the gate and opens it quickly, she noticed that Bette’s car is still parked so luckily she didn’t do a runner. She looks around and sees Bette leaning against the wall of their gate. She walks over to her, her eyes focused on Bette’s body as her face is turned down to the ground.
“B. Why are you here? What happened? Why did you walk away?” Monique asks Bette softly rubbing her shoulder, trying to get Bette’s attention to look at her. Bette looks up slowly, her face is wet from tears. Monique gets her arms out and puts them around Bette, she hugs her in silence for a minute. Then she pulls herself away from her and looks Bette in the eyes.
“B. Tell me, why are you here? Why are you not with Tina?” Monique asks softly but persistent.
“I …I needed some air.” Bette replies softly, looking into Monique’s eyes. Monique frowns as she hears Bette’s answer. Bette is wiping the tears from her face with her hand as she looks at Monique.
“Why did you not take the air over there? Why did you walk to here?” Monique asks her with curiosity.
“I mean, I see your face when you hear Tina’s words, I decide that everything is going to be okay, I walk inside to call Ben and when I come back you’re gone! Geez Bette, I thought you had run away again. You two did so well, I do understand that you must be a bit overwhelmed by Tina’s words, so was I, but why walk away, Bette? Isn’t this what you wanted to hear? Isn’t this what you’ve been hoping for all those months?” Monique questions Bette with a soft voice, she wants Bette to return to Tina, as she understands very well how Tina must feel right now.

At least Bette didn’t completely run away. And it looks as though she has an important question for Tina if they are able to talk through everything and patch it all up. Let’s just hope she gets home safely.

Hey BG, it’s great to have you back. And good to know that nice things are going on in your life that keep you busy… even if it means that we have to wait awhile for our “A New Life” fix. As usual, another great update. I can see why Bette needs time to ponder and carefully chose her words… trying to be heard and understood takes work. Hopefully Tina will be willing to listen when it’s Bette’s turn to speak. And what has Bette bought in town? Is that a ring in the little box? I’m looking forward to your next update. Thanks.
Missed you and your wonderful story. These two always seem to turn and run for the closest door. Tina has finally stopped running and made the effort to take back her life with Bette. Hopefully Bette will follow in those steps and stop running also. It seems that she is willing to consider allowing Tina back in. Now, if only she will stop her stubborn ways and tell Tina what she really wants to say.
i hope bette’s get home safely and they will continue talking and tina will accept bette’s proposal, if she still intends to
Tina is rigth about Bette running but this time i am glad Bette does not running so far! i hope Bette clear her mind with this little trip and talk with Tina they need talk talk and continue talk in order to move on! take your time i hope you have good time and post soon well at lest this week! take care, thanks for the post

Well at least Bette had Monique tell Tina that she needed some time to think and didn’t just run off without an explanation. I am hanging on the edge of my seat waiting to see what Bette is going to do with what is in the little box. Oh by the way, I like the Celine Dion song that came on the radio, great choice.
Bette, go home, propose to your wife, and talk for a change. Love this. Celine always welcomed.

Hey BG, Thankk the stars that Bette only needed some space and had not left Tina for dust. Monique has been a true friend and supporter. She has put everything on the line for Bette and Tina and now knows it is time to let them ruminate and then move forward. It seems that Bette’s reaction was not totally unexpected by Tina so at least there is still hope there. Bette has clearer her head and now needs to get back to her family and show Tina the contents on that little box as a means of demonstrating her love and devotion to her family. Please show Bette the road home. Thank you for carrying on with this magical tale. Your Loyal Fan.
