A night at Milk
As they ordered drinks, I watched Tina as she was reacting to her new surroundings. I was pleased that she wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought she would be. She seemed very relaxed and intrigued. I laughed as she widened her eyes at two drag queens that walked by. She looked at me and laughed herself. I ordered us a couple drinks and we downed them.
“Care to dance?”
“Yeah,” Tina said and grabbed my hand.
“You really are ravishing,” I said to her once we got to the dance floor. As she blushed I smiled and we danced.
We were on the dance floor for what seemed like forever. We drank and enjoyed each other’s company. Shane had already found a girl for the night, Dana and Lara hit it off pretty well and Alice sat in the VIP booth sulking and drinking. Drink after drink loosened us up and we felt more comfortable with each other by the second. The drunker I got, the bolder I became. As the music played on, I held her body closer to mine, our bodies moving in sync to the beats of the song. They fit so perfectly together, I stared into her eyes and it felt as if we were the only ones there. I brushed her perfect blonde hair back and laid a soft kiss on her lips. So soft, I was sure I had made it up. She smiled at me, and I kissed her again, this time with more passion. She kissed me back. Her hands found their way to my curly brown locks; my hand griped the back of her head as my other held onto her at her waist. After what seemed like the world’s longest kiss we parted and she went limp in my arms, her arms above her head, her body still grinding on mine. We danced until we heard last call; we drank a couple more drinks and headed out. Tina leaned on me for support as we walked down the street, while Shane and her new girl made out the entire walk, Dana and Lara lagged behind and Alice sulked, alone. She let her failed hook up get the best of her, like she always did. Kit was waiting anxiously for us to get there, we all piled into my car and Kit drove us all to my house.
