    Life is a theatre

    The Land Rover sat at the crest of the hill, overlooking the Watering hole that had become the centre of the wildlife community around them. This was the Africa that Tina loved, completely devoid of man made interruptions and noise, and rich in it’s rewards for the patiently watching couple.

    Bette and Tina were enjoying a picnic under the shade of a giant jackalberry tree next to their trusty vehicle. Bette looked skywards, once again checking that the fleshy yellowish fruits hanging from it’s branches were not likely to be falling on her head any time soon! Grateful for the shade it’s dense foliage provided from the midday sun.

    “You know why it’s so much better to be sat here than in the car?” Tina said, breaking the easy silence they had lapsed into since starting to eat.

    Bette looked down from her fruit watching, to look at the beautiful blonde with a questioning gaze. “Because we have been sat in the Land Rover for 2 days, and we needed to stretch our legs!” Bette replied.

    Tina smiled indulgently. “Do you like the theatre?” She asked Bette

    “What?” Bette replied more confused than before.She leaned forward holding the back of her hand over Tina’s forehead, checking for a temperature. “I think you may have been out in the sun too long TYou’re not making any sense!”

    Tina playfully slapped Bette’s hand away, pursing her lips, a look of mock impatience on her face. “I am trying to explain to you why it’s better to be sat here Bette.” She said. “Have you ever been to the theatre?”

    “Of course I have” replied Bette, sounding offended that Tina would question her love of the performing arts.

    “Well imagine the difference between watching a play on television, and seeing it live at the theatre. ” She explained “Watching it on television you still see everything, but you are never a part of it, you never “feel” the whole experience.”

    Tina looked around her, taking in the herd of Zebra heading toward the waters edge. “When you go to the theatre it’s a whole complete experience. That’s the difference between us sitting here, the wildlife all around us, and sitting in the Land Rover. We can feel the same breeze blowing through our hair, as they feel on their course coats, the heat of the sun blazing down on us, smelling nature all around us”.

    7. ROTFLMFAO!!!!! The rhino, haha ok let me pace myself I just can’t stop laughing. Ok let me start off by saying have you ever been in a bar or club, and some ugly person wants you????
      Hmm, That’s want I see when I think about the rhino. OH and the rhino is so a lesbian! and I might say it has good taste. WTF I know tina has some darts in the land rover, first of all the fucking rhino is running at the front of the truck, worst place to have damage too. So tina as her cool ass safari gudie self need to pull out the dart gun and pop that rhino in the ass!!

      OK this is my question for TB?? so they have be out on the plain lands and that stuff right?? So there having sex, so how are they umm how are they showering or taking baths?? cause I know those lake thing are not clean and theres crocs and gators?? Well if you ask me it fucking nasty. But I also don’t go camping cause I think it’s dirty.

    13. Human or animal, do EVER mess with a woman when she thinks she’s being sexy! Beauty is only skin deep, and in this case the Rhino might find it’s only as deep as Land Rover metal. I hope that Tina’s quick actions take them out of harms way. This is truly “live” theater.

      It may be beautiful, but it’s called ‘wildlife’ for a reason. Great chapter.

      “Yeah, thank god that herd of elephants moved on.” Bette laughed. “Now that was a smell!”

      I can totally vouch for that lol Worst circus experience ever! Haha
