Bette: Before I forget, does your mom Think I’m crazy?
Tina: Let’s not even get started on thatlets just say she wasn’t pleased with the virgin comment. I don’t know what it is about moms. Just can’t seem to face reality
Bette: Oh yeah..sorry about thatI don’t know what came over me
Tina: Well we’ll talk more later baby, ok I have to now
They hugged one another for the last time. Neither of them wanting to let go of one another.
Tina: Good luck on your art show I’m so sorry I had to miss it
Bette: It’s ok they’ll be plenty more for you to attend with me.
Tina: I know..bye sweetie
Bette: Bye
Tina left feeling slightly better about her whole situation. She knew breaking up with Eric wasn’t going to be easy but she didn’t care anymore. She had Bette and that was all that mattered.
Alice was in the car honking as Tina walked out. Tina glanced at her watch and realized they better hurry up if they were going to make it on time
The girls were in a frenzy trying to beat traffic to make it on time back to Tina’s house so that the car service could pick them up and take them to the airport. Tina had spent too much time at Bette’s office and the girls were worried they wouldn’t catch their flight.
As Alice drove Tina was in deep thought. Every time Alice looked over, Tina had her eyebrows furrowed up and she was biting her lip. Neither of them spoke the whole way. The mood was very pensive and Alice didn’t want to ruin it although she was dying to know what Tina was thinking about.
They pulled up to Tina’s house and the limo was already there. The girls rushed out of the car grabbed their bags, and threw it in. After they were both in the backseat and the driver left the curb Alice couldn’t hold it in any longer
Alice: what’s wrong?
Tina: What do you mean?
Alice: You haven’t said a word since we left the CAC, and that silly grin that has been irremovable from your face for the past couple of days has suddenly disappeared

Thank you….as you said, it was going to be short; but it helped us gain a little insight on what goes through Tina’s mind and why it appeared that she was so indecisive.
She understands now that she may loose people in her life in order to be happy; but thats a price we pay when in love.
Now that Tina has accepted this, will she stick to it when the shit really hits the fan. Her mom, for one, is not going to like this at all….let the drama begin.
BTW….can you tell I dont care whether Eric likes it or not? ;)

oh man chapter was WAY TOO SHORT!!!! hopefully u’ll amke it up by posting another 1 later 2day?????!!!!!!! I can’t say I’m looking 4ward 2 Tina coming out 2 her parent and all, (there’s just 2 much drama now in all the stories) though I’m ANXIOUSLY LOOKING 4WARD 2 WHEN T RETURNS 2 B AND THEY GET THAT CAMERA WORKING!!!! So I’m hoping u’ll post soon and longer chapters!!!!
Good update, I like that Tina is finally waking up. BTW no I did not get the part in was going for. Damn me for having big boobs (I will explain why that screwed me up later) however they want me to possibly play another part where I would pretty much play a big black man (again i will explain later)
i believe that love is enough. tina is starting to believe it herself, will she still believe it when all she has is bette? Yes i think so. al is being a good friend. had to LOL at the use of a car service. that is what i did in Ny to get to the airport. love your writing. take care. see u in chat.

it absolutely makes perfect sense that tina is so torn – having to deal with letting go of her past life and beginning to embrace her new life, her new love, her new identity … the coming out process can be so difficult, lets not mention scary … i think you are doing an excellent job representing the turmoil some of us experienced … so looking forward to more!!!
It’s good to see what really goes on inside Tina’s mind. It’s definately something hard to deal with but love is love and she can’t worry about what others will think because her own happiness is what comes first. Great chapter, can’t wait for more!
Tinas struggle is quite real… Its all about society and its cookie cutter shape of what each and everyone should be. If you stray outside the lines then you are branded a misfit and looked down upon. Your doing a great job at giving Tina the time to think about all the possibilities and consequences of the choices in her life… which road to take for her journey.
God..I can remember having thoughts like Tina. Always wondering what society/people think. She will get through it to be happy. Just like we all have to do. Thanks for the chapter and this story NYC

It was short, but I enjoyed it. Tina has alot of inner turmoil going on. We’ve probably all been there at one time or another. But you get through it. You can’t go through life worrying about what everyone is going to think, including your family. True love and happiness is hard to come by and if its there you need to grab on and go for all its worth. Alice, that girl ya gotta love her. Tina needs to just do what she has to, cut her losses and get back to Bette, and the camera.

Aw shucks, this chapter was really sweet. I loved how Tina was describing her feelings for Bette to Alice. Heck, it made ME jealous.
See just write from your heart. Now If we can get Tina to go with her heart. Her Mom will be so angry and upset with her, also a lot of her friends will drop her like a hot horseshoe. They were really not her friends. Eric shouldn’t have lied to start with.his way of getting Tina. I believe that Tina will do the right thing………THANKS
