Alice: I cant answer that for you
Tina: Which brings me back to my original question is love enough. Is she going to love me enough to make up for the fact that I may possible lose my family. Is the love that we share going to help us down the road when we come into problems with other people who don’t like who we are. Even more importantly am I going to be strong enough to deal with all that comes my way. Do I have it in me to fight this constant battle that the world seems to want to throw at me
Alice: I think its worth itit’s hard but it can be done
Tina: Right you do, because your family didn’t care, they were open-minded and caring and accepting. You know my momshe had a problem with you being ***** at first so just imagine the ***** I’m going to go through when I tell her
Alice: You know you don’t have to tell her right awayyou can wait
Tina: I knowbut the more I wait, the more I think there are two possible lives I can lead. One is with Eric, in which everyone around me would be happy but myself. I would probably be miserable, wind up with a drinking problem and wind up divorcing Eric only to find that the love of my life is happily married to someone else, and I’m left to die alone and miserable. Or I choose my happiness, I stay with Bette, and face the world together. But then that’s just it I may only have her.
Alice; She is all you will ever need though
Tina: Yeah, I knowit’s just why does life have to be so unfair? Why can’t I be excited to spread the news of my new life rather in fear of anyone finding out? Its like some huge cosmic joke.
Alice: Tina when you look at her or touch her or even think about her what happens?
Tina smiled, reminiscing the last time they had spent together
Tina: My heart skips a beat, and I have to remind myself to breathe. Her smile makes me forget any problem I had that day and her voice causes me to become so aroused that I can’t think clearly. Her touch sends this message that is so strong to me, we have like this jolt of electricity between us anytime there’s a whisper between us, or her lips touch mine and I can feel the love. It just touches my soul
Alice: God I’m jealous
Tina smiled
Alice: Well there you go, you will NEVER EVER have that with Eric. It’s just not in you too. Everyone is going to have to accept that. You didn’t choose this life it chose you, and you should be thankful because some people go their whole life searching but they never get to experience what you have. The timing is unfortunate of course but things could be worse. You could of never of found her, then what would your life be like?
Tina; I odnt even want to think about that possibility, it actually hurts
Alice: Don’t make me pukeI can only deal with this lovey dovey stuff for so long
Tina: Oh shut upbut Your right AliceI don’t know why I was in doubtLove will be enough for the both of usit just has to be
Tina smiled, She knew things would be rough but Alice was right, there was absolutely no way she could ever live happily with Eric. Bette completed her. Bette was her life now, and if people couldn’t accept that, then she’d have to cut her losses and try her best to keep her head highher thoughts were interrupted by Alice
Alice: On a side note what’s with the camera?
Tina’s face flushed but she quickly said
Tina: Oh Bette needed it to tape her art showget your thoughts out of the gutter
Alice noticed the sly smile creep into Tina’s face after her comment but she let it go, she’d embarrass her later about that, but now they had a plane to catch.

Thank you….as you said, it was going to be short; but it helped us gain a little insight on what goes through Tina’s mind and why it appeared that she was so indecisive.
She understands now that she may loose people in her life in order to be happy; but thats a price we pay when in love.
Now that Tina has accepted this, will she stick to it when the shit really hits the fan. Her mom, for one, is not going to like this at all….let the drama begin.
BTW….can you tell I dont care whether Eric likes it or not? ;)

oh man chapter was WAY TOO SHORT!!!! hopefully u’ll amke it up by posting another 1 later 2day?????!!!!!!! I can’t say I’m looking 4ward 2 Tina coming out 2 her parent and all, (there’s just 2 much drama now in all the stories) though I’m ANXIOUSLY LOOKING 4WARD 2 WHEN T RETURNS 2 B AND THEY GET THAT CAMERA WORKING!!!! So I’m hoping u’ll post soon and longer chapters!!!!
Good update, I like that Tina is finally waking up. BTW no I did not get the part in was going for. Damn me for having big boobs (I will explain why that screwed me up later) however they want me to possibly play another part where I would pretty much play a big black man (again i will explain later)
i believe that love is enough. tina is starting to believe it herself, will she still believe it when all she has is bette? Yes i think so. al is being a good friend. had to LOL at the use of a car service. that is what i did in Ny to get to the airport. love your writing. take care. see u in chat.

it absolutely makes perfect sense that tina is so torn – having to deal with letting go of her past life and beginning to embrace her new life, her new love, her new identity … the coming out process can be so difficult, lets not mention scary … i think you are doing an excellent job representing the turmoil some of us experienced … so looking forward to more!!!
It’s good to see what really goes on inside Tina’s mind. It’s definately something hard to deal with but love is love and she can’t worry about what others will think because her own happiness is what comes first. Great chapter, can’t wait for more!
Tinas struggle is quite real… Its all about society and its cookie cutter shape of what each and everyone should be. If you stray outside the lines then you are branded a misfit and looked down upon. Your doing a great job at giving Tina the time to think about all the possibilities and consequences of the choices in her life… which road to take for her journey.
God..I can remember having thoughts like Tina. Always wondering what society/people think. She will get through it to be happy. Just like we all have to do. Thanks for the chapter and this story NYC

It was short, but I enjoyed it. Tina has alot of inner turmoil going on. We’ve probably all been there at one time or another. But you get through it. You can’t go through life worrying about what everyone is going to think, including your family. True love and happiness is hard to come by and if its there you need to grab on and go for all its worth. Alice, that girl ya gotta love her. Tina needs to just do what she has to, cut her losses and get back to Bette, and the camera.

Aw shucks, this chapter was really sweet. I loved how Tina was describing her feelings for Bette to Alice. Heck, it made ME jealous.
See just write from your heart. Now If we can get Tina to go with her heart. Her Mom will be so angry and upset with her, also a lot of her friends will drop her like a hot horseshoe. They were really not her friends. Eric shouldn’t have lied to start with.his way of getting Tina. I believe that Tina will do the right thing………THANKS
