    Liquor in the front and poker in the rear…

    Shane turns and looks at Carmen’s parents

    Shane: Her mother I like her alot and her father well he will take some getting used to. I think she’s the one Bette

    Bette: Really?

    Shane: Yes really

    Bette observes Carmen looking at Shane

    Bette: I think she wants you

    Shane turns to Carmen and she smiles

    Shane: Do you mind if?

    Shane is cut off by Bette

    Bette: No are you crazy. You better get over there

    Shane: Ok I’ll see you at the table

    Bette: Ok

    Shane walks off and goes over to Carmen…She takes her hand in hers…Bette stands there for a moment and thinks about the first time she and Tina fell for one another…She sees her wife and she smiles…She then goes over to her…She sits down and takes her hand in hers and she looks into her eyes

    Bette: I love you Tina

    Tina: I love you too Bette

    5 MINUTES LATER

    Dana and Alice arrive…They get out the car…They both look at the house…It looks empty

    Dana: Al are you sure they are here because it doesn’t seem as though anyone is home

    Alice smells something

    Alice: Yup this is it Dane. Come on just follow the smell

    Dana: Ok

    The two proceed to the backyard…When they come around the corner they see Bette and Tina sitting at the table holding hands

    Alice: Come on Dane there goes Bette and Tina

    Dana: Where?

    Alice points

    Alice: Right there at the table

    Alice takes Dana’s hand in hers…The two go over towards the table where Bette and Tina are…The couple don’t see them walk up beside them

    Alice: Hey *****

    Bette and Tina both look up…Bette and Tina smile especially Bette

    Bette: Alice you made it

    Alice: You should have known. Moments like this I just can’t leave behind without investigating

    They all laugh

    Tina and Bette both rise from the table and give Dana and Alice a hug

    Tina: You two pull up a chair and have a seat

    Alice puts her hand over her chest as though she is surprised

    Bette: But you must behave

    Alice: Bette how long have you known me what about 10 years. You know I can’t do that it’s against my religion

    Alice and Dana pull up a chair and sit at the table with Bette and Tina

    5. Awwwwww. So warm and loving and peaceful for once. I love your version of Bette. Her being caring and considerate. And Carmer must be in heaven to have the woman she wants along with the approval and support of her family. Good lovin’ all around. I hope Alice can get a handle on things before she messes up her relationship. Another great post. Moving on to the next. =)
