    Tina – Thanks, Goldie!

    Meg – There is only one sad thing in all of this …

    Tina frowns.

    Tina – What?

    Meg – You will always be the most important woman in my life after my mother. And I know that you felt the same way about me … but now …

    The blonde smiles warmly.

    Tina – Bette is my partner, but you will always be my sister, Goldie.

    Meg returns the smile.

    Meg – And you will be mine, Belle. My move to San Fran is not going to change that!

    Tina – I know …

    She hugs her friend tightly.

    Tina – But I’ll miss you like crazy!

    Meg – Me too …

    Her eyes well up with tears.

    Two weeks later

    Tina’s bedroom, night: Bette and Tina are hugging in bed.

    Tina – Last night here …

    The brunette caresses her face.  

    Tina – I’m going to miss this place … I’ve been here since I left college.

    Bette – Good memories?

    Tina – Yeah …

    She caresses her girlfriend’s face.

    Tina – But I intend to create even better memories with you …

    They smile at each other.

    Bette – It will be so fucking amazing to wake up with you every morning.

    Tina – I thought that you would find it fucking amazing to sleep with me every night.

    Bette chuckles.

    Bette – That’s the fucking part …

    Tina laughs.

    Bette – I love sleeping with you … but something about waking up with you is so amazing. I never thought it was special to wake up with any woman and I rarely did.

    Tina – Hmmm … too many women.

    The brunette kisses her forehead.

    Bette – I’ve never felt this way before about any woman.

    Tina – And I can say the same. (pause) You are my first and only.

    She looks thoughtful.

    Tina – Come to think of it … you will be my only one … Huh!

    Bette pouts.

    Bette – Would you like to have been with other women?

    Tina – I only ever wanted you!

    The brunette hugs her.

    Bette – Good! I went through the torture of convincing you. No other woman can have you!
